Aw, Lilac, we will miss you too. I hope you have a nice trip.

I wonder how Sadie's trip plans are going, thinking about trips.

Been just puttering around today. Blanket washed and hung up. Sheets in and sitting on the guest bed, not on yet. I don't know why I hate doing that, but I do. Dinner was casserole with all the broccoli and a couple green beans from the garden, leftover chicken and some other stuff.

I've been sewing.

Lilac, I'll join you in major meltdown mode. I'm starting to panic over my trip and all the demands on my time between now and then.

I just had to turn our church musician down a second day in a row. We were to go to dinner tomorrow night but my son wants to take me out for Mother's Day then. And I can't go out in the evening to a movie with her because I have to be out the door at 6:45 on Sunday so need to be in bed by 9.

This evening, I got the basement tidied and then immediately messed it again by spreading out my summer clothes to try on. I brought a subset upstairs to try out while getting ready for bed.

I'm exhausted and have an early start tomorrow (out the door at 7.)

See you all later in the day. Somehow, I have to fit a manicure and pedicure into my day tomorrow (at home, not out.) So I may not be posting at all if my nails are wet!

((((Lilac))))

Harmony - how many minutes/seconds does it take to put those sheets on? Timing a task is a huge motivator for me.

We had a good gentle rain most all day. Perfect to soak into the ground without running off. Our local town is having an event this weekend so the park is filled with kiddie rides. LO is sooooo excited about going and is ready for the sun to come out so they will open up for business. It will be his first time riding on a carousel. We will see how brave he is tomorrow when it comes time to actually get onto the rides. :)

Some of the items I ordered for LO school lessons next year arrived. I've been trying to come up with a way to organized them. This evening I put the character traits/sketches into plastic sleeves. I have found that it helps to have items that are handled over and over to be covered by plastic. I know some people use a laminator but I've never became that *O*. The plastic page sleeves are quick/easy way to protect the pages and they have the 3 ring binder holes. I'm finding myself becoming a 3 ring binder person....

Lilac, I guess you will have no way to check in with us along the way. Have a good time! What time do you leave?

Kathryn, thanks for letting us know when you'll be traveling. Sorry you missed your friend.

Would Dee be home by now?

Both Elizabeth and Sadie are in the midst of trip-planning. All best wishes.

Yawwwwn. Everyone have a good night's sleep except Lynlee and Lisa, have a chipper day!

Harriet, we are leaving at 7am.

Kathryn, I feel better knowing that I am not the only one who gets this way before a trip. Have a great time in Atlanta.

I need to clean out my purse and fix meds before I hit the bed. 5am will be here before I know it.

Bye! I'll check in once we are home.
