I've gotten the back part of the yard watered that the sprinkler does not get, and picked up wind fall apples as well.
I got my hair washed.

Now trying to figure out what to do dd is having a dinner for h. and it's taco soup with corn undrained beans also undrained and mystery carb count so I'm serously considering taking a can of chili b/c I know it's some thing I can eat and no mystery carbs! Or eating first. Hoping dd understands , 've never had taco soup before.

My dinner is done. It was late and I was cranky because I was so hungry. Ate too much watermelon after dinner because I was still hungry.

My eye appointment went as well as can be expected. I went because my GP sent me, not because I was having trouble. The eye doctor, who really just does private eye lid lifts and not regular eye care, recommended I go elsewhere. Which is a sane recommendation. He's still not sure how I managed to get under his care. Anyway, he gave me a plan of action to put into play if I get another bad inflammation. He would not refill my scripts, though, but did share that optometrists can now write a prescription for drugs so to go there next time I need one (I only need on when my current drops expire - I never use them up, at most I only use 10 drops out of a jar before they expire.)

We then went to a doughnut shop and waited for our Montreal friend to join us. It was a short wait and I got the extraneous stuff ready to remove from the car (things like maps of this area.) I'm going to need every nook and cranny the car has to offer.

We had a nice, 90 minute visit with our friend. It was good to see him again.

Dh managed to bend his glasses today and wanted to head to Costco to get them bent back but the traffic was bad and he'll be at the car dealership across the parking lot tomorrow so I told him to put it off until then. So we turned the car in the opposite direction and headed home.

The crock pot food was ready but it took another 45 minutes for the rice to be ready (dh got distracted) and I got cranky at that point since I was starving. He got cranky back and I ended up working in the garage for a while. Got the a/c air filter changed on the car and pulled out the stuff I had to remove from the car.

I need to start parking now, or at least make a list of things to take with us. The dishwasher has run (that was yesterday and today's earlier dishes) and tonight's dishes need cleaning up.

Tomorrow we are out ALL Day, we'll leave here at 8:30 and be home around 6. Then leave again at 9 to pick up dd from the airport and drive her to the bride's house (she's maid of honour at a wedding on Saturday.) This will be the only chance we have to see her this trip. Ironically, our dsil is in Nova Scotia right now and flying back here for the wedding the day we arrive there.

I got the preaching gig for July so I'll have to pull some resources from the presbytery library while I'm in there tomorrow.

I went to sit in the living room to chat with dh for a bit and I ended up taking a short 20 minute nap. Dh fell asleep too. I think I will let ddogs out one last time, wake dh and go back to bed.

Loved the good news here. Sunny for DH's good report, Lilac for house closing. Whew! Finally!

Well, facebook message was very short and sweet for DH. There is hope for every relationship, I'm convinced of that now.

Daily evening watering chores are longer now. Yesterday we planted a mulberry tree and DH put a big area of new sod in, plus the veggie garden still needs watering. Oh boy we need rain.

I kinda fizzled after all the office stuff was done. Could have gotten more done, but I didn't. There's always tomorrow.

Went to the Italian restaurant and there was a sign saying they had closed early due to unforseen circumstances. So we instead went to a Mexican restaurant.

Went to dgs8 ballgame with dd1 and dgd15. Dd2 and her family were already there.

Tomorrow both dgd15 leave for cheer camp. Dgd15, daughter of dd1 is still grounded, except for camp. She is the one who was so mean to the other dgd15. She is learning a lesson the hard way. The friend who came between her and her cousin, has now turned on dgd15. She is a cheerleader also, so hopefully there won't be drama. Yeah, right! Both of my dds are looking forward to 4 days of no teenage attitude.

I still can't believe the house sale is final. I dug up starts of ground cover from the other house. I will need to pot them tomorrow. I had planned to do it over there and then decided to just bring it over here. There are no flower beds here. The other house had 4 and I am done with weeding flower beds, at least for now. A friend grows everything in pots, so I'll see how it goes. If anything doesn't make it, I am sure that she would let me get some more.

Today as I was coming home, there was a city worker walking down the sidewalk with a letter for each house. They are doing their annual chip and seal street work and lucky us, they will do ours tomorrow. They put down hot asphalt on the street and then they put sand over it. It is messy and gets black junk on your vehicles. For the first time in 7 months, our 2 main vehicles are clean. So my car will be sitting in the garage for quite awhile. I will drive his SUV and he told me to creep along to keep it from chipping the paint. I will just have to drive about 2 1/2 blocks to the busy street that is concrete and so it won't get that treatment. During the summer there is not much traffic in front of our house and the school, so it will take the rest of the summer for it to cure.

I will be watching 3 of the 4 little ones tomorrow while dd2 takes the youngest to the dr. Wednesday I intend to go thru the house and pull out anything that needs to exit these premises and donate it to the Bible Bowl garage sale. I am also donating the N ordic T rak. After school starts and dd1 is back to work, we are buying a treadmill. Dh will be leaving Friday for his 8 day, 7 night motorcyle trip to Canada. I hope to get a lot done while he is gone. At the very least, get started on deepcleaning each room.

Guess I better head to bed...................

Back from dd's she omitted the corn from the soup it was more like chili I know how much meds. I needed for that, chips bread corn on cob ch. cake only had a couple bites of the cake h. shared ---stopped by the store on the way home for eggs to devil if I go to the meeting at the church they are having deserts so thought I"d take some thing I could have. Also needed shampoo as were nearly out. Glad to have that done and I'm doing better but glad this day is done.

Dgd #123 and dgson were all there so it was good to see them!
