Ooohhh.... (((BIG HUGS))) all around... and for (((
Indiana))), who is sooo much on my mind...
Harmony, I really sympathize w/you w/the hand trouble. My dmom has the same thing, I think, as did her mom! I've told y'all all about it before, I know... how the pool therapy helps her back but causes her hands to break out, etc.
I have it in a much milder form, so far, but I'm constantly looking for something to help w/itchy fingers. NO PUN INTENDED!!! Not the kind of itchy fingers that make you want to steal things -- the kind that makes you want to rub your knuckles raw... LOL.
DH is STILL having a terrible time with itchy calves... not the kind in the pasture... okay... * groan *
He has this rash that looks like a million big, red, mosquito bites all over his legs, from the knees down, and it itches like crazy. He has seen a dermatologist, and has a rx for a cream, but it does NOT seem to be working and the doctor says he is using too much of it. DH says, how do you put a "little" on EACH of these places and NOT use too much??? He is supposed to go back to the doctor next Wednesday. He thinks the doctor is bumfuzzled with it, too. Doctor actually told him he'd never seen anything like it.
I've been on something of a wild goose chase today.
Last night when ds came over, he told us we had a piece missing on the SUV.
DH went out and looked, agreed.
They were both SURE that there used to be a cover over the area around the trailer hitch which matched the bumper. They both agreed that the little hook-up for lights, etc, was not visible before I went to the dealer yesterday.
* sigh *
Called the dealer this morning, explained the situation, they said there was no way they would have been inspecting anything in that area, no unexplained parts like that were lying around the shop, etc, but I could come over and they would look at it & see if it could be replaced.
So... I start back over there... stop at the car wash and have them search around the wash area... they skim through all this murky looking water in the drainage area...
Get to the dealer... guy says, "Ma'am, you never had a piece back here. There IS a piece they make that can cover this, but it doesn't fit if you have a trailer hitch. I'll show you -- there's a Tahoe just like yours right there, see? You just never noticed it before..."
* sheesh *
I called ds on the way home and told him that he and his daddy were both crazy.
AND I counted 14 Tahoes on the way home and they all looked exactly like mine, except for the three that did not have trailer hitches.
HOWEVER, I got two new pairs of shoes while I was out on this little errand, so the day was not a total loss!
Meanwhile, dh's truck is in the shop for at least a week. He is going to use his mom's van.
Other than running a bunch of errands, I am getting nothing done this week.
