I've been off the computer, just busy.

Stay safe everybody in this storm. I'm glad to hear central Virginia was ok. I have a cousin up there, Sunny has DSon closer to the shore, he & his family probably get more. We're waiting to hear how he fared. DH has a brother up in the mountains of Eastern Pennsylvania. They won't likely flood but the wind could do lots of damage. They have 2 houses up there. For once I'm glad to be in Florida.

Ellyphant, I do hope your husb. gets home safely.

(Bernice) hopefully, life will get more peaceful.

Sun. I was 2 hours at church, the first I've felt like I wanted to do both sunday school and church. I am a little better the past couple days. Sat. I sewed on and off all day and I was tired at the end of the day, but by Sunday ok again. So I guess I am on the mend.

All I can say, Scattered, is -try it. What's to lose?

Since I decided I didn't absolutely have to finish those notes today and get them sent (before I lose internet -either by storm or choice -due to be shut off tomorrow), I've been busy puttering. Cleaned up the kitchen. RE-packed a food bin I'm taking south and dh's 'snack' bin. This guy should not go hungry or have a sugar craving for some time! Took care of the rest of the laundry from yesterday -some I had to put aside to be packed. Hae done some other picking up and organizing as I go. Now I think I need to rest a bit as my mid-back is screaming at me again to STOP!

I feel better that this place is looking a little more organized. I know I should get things ready and in the car. Don't think the weather will get any better. BBL

Oops! Post sat here for probably hour & a half. More -just looked at Okay's time -nearly 2 hours ago. When I hit submit again, bet there's more. Yep - 3 more.

Been meaning to tell ((((Bernice)))) -please feel free to post here and in 'members only'. Your "lists" are fine.

Here comes one starving hubby! Have bean soup heating for him.

I really got a lot of puttery things done. Think mostly I have toiletry type items and medical items. Redid some things and consolidated. Now just have to figure out how to get it all in the car.

DH is done blowing out the water lines. Dcampowner got nervous because each year it's taking less time to do that -probably because dh keeps realizing different ways to cut some time. We're still debating what to do tonight. If we were in our old house it would be no question. A state of emergency was declared before noon so we need to make a decision before too long. DH did say we could go to the fire hall if we want. May just do that and take a pillow and blanket and our meds.

Dh's 'boss' wants him to run some wire in the rec hall tomorrow. He has 1 RV to winterize tomorrow. Are these people crazy?

I'm up. Its Tuesday here. checking on tv on Sandys progress.
Prayers for all who may be affected.
Who are affected now before it gets there.
Who will be affected by the weather that follows.
For the families of the 69 people known to be killed in the Carribean already, and all those affected there.

Today I have an outing in a few hours to the once retreat center I used attend. We (old group who used attend there) have veen allowed access to the chapel for a couple of hours. Then there is afternoon tea at the home of widower who live nearby, who with his deceased wife were major supporters. She was a real friend to me. I need get something to take.
Just begin.
Living this day, today
Take a reality check; Remember to breathe; Do what I am able to do.
Look for the good in all.

Home again. DDogs had a very brisk walk - they weren't wasting any time outside walking today. I actually got my heart rate up a bit - wonder of wonders!

Hoping all is well with Harriet and she's just busy today with her ddad and family. I saw on Facebook that some acquaintances near ATL had their power on and off all day today. Our electric is underground, but just in this immediate area.

I saw the almost full moon this morning when I walked ddogs - was beautiful. I suspect will be beautiful as well in the a.m. Hard to imagine the storm fury in the NE although I'm listening to the Weather channel.

I think I'll make something from the freezer for my supper. I took soup from last night for my lunch today so I didn't have to go out. At work today I got another Exempt org (i.e. nonprofit) return to work on. I suspect the final info for all of these will come in at the same time as they are all due on Nov 15.

Going to shut down for the night. I will try to get here in the morning, but our internet is slated to be turned off on the 30th (tomorrow). Going to pack a small bag in case we have to leave here. We've pretty well decided we'll go to the fire hall if we feel the need to leave. The rain is coming down in sheets now. When the RV rocks, it gets a little scary. Trying to remember how long they said the higher winds will last. DH would leave in a minute if I said so. Just hate even going out in this.

Glad Harriet checked in. Take care and stay safe all you eastern gals. DH just said we may have to 'eat' the tickets to the show at the Sight and Sound theater in Lancaster. So be it, if it happens (there are no cancellations).
