Dee, glad you caught the runaway!

Dh called and we discussed visiting friends in NM for a long weekend right before Christmas. I started a lol but just found the detergent "pod" on the laundry room floor, so I assume I forgot to put it in.

Challah will be ready to shape soon, and it looks normal this time. Must have been bad yeast last week. I've never had it go bad, although I did note that it s/b used within six months of opening and this bottle had been around longer.

-take out kitchen trash
-refill meds
-clean rings and small diamond earrings, which I wear a lot

Thank you for all the great ideas - You know how it is when you keep looking at it and the problem seems bigger than it is.

I have been having MANY spots for all the stuff and when I emptied the dining room hutch it really depressed me as it was filled with everything. I need a central location so that I don't have too many of one thing all over the place. I have 4 staplers 2 large 2 small, envelopes out the door, dh's papers mmmm, lined paper > then I should have. etc.....

I was also embarrassed, my dear neighbor who speaks to everyone stopped by and the cat litter hadn't been changed, dog hair (from moving the furniture) was all over the floor and piles of stuff in one corner or two bc all the furniture is gone.

dh was very frustrated as he feels I am moving him "out of the house by asking him to put the items away- he has a small stack of newspapers that is growing in the front room, added 2 more tables (end) in the front room that don't match, keeps at least 10 books on the coffee table, and stores so many papers in the dining room along with financial binders that it just bogs the rooms down. I never throw any of his stuff away but he hates his stuff moved from the places that are out. So frustrating for me as I try to be patient. He told me he didn't want anything in his closet either. trying to be patient and not doing too well in it

Okay... I don't known why I didn't think of this before, but when my db was in 2nd grade....like 55 years ago.. My mom became suspicious that he couldn't hear very well. One day she slammed a door near him and he didn't respond to the noise. His tonsils has been removed when he was two but not his adenoids.

The drs said my DBS adenoids were huge as well and had grown around or in the ear canals. Until he had them removed he had a 40% hearing loss. Within days his hearing drastically improved and so did his school work. I guess when you said you had had LO's hearing evaluated I assumed they checked his tonsils and adnoids. I hope that LO has the same success.

Yay for LO's surgery! Didn't know adenoids could cause hearing loss! My kids had theirs removed along with tonsils after a year or so of strep throat. That took care of the strep...nowhere for it to hide. Turned out DD was a carrier.

My tree is decorated and beautiful, so now I will stop mentioning it. Think I will put up the second tree in the guest room where it can be seen from outside on the other side of the house. This is way early for me to be getting all this done. Can barely remember last Christmas, but I know we were still sorting ourselves out after the move.

DH went to bed after supper. Hope he isn't getting sick...
