Ooohhh -- this site opened MUCH more quickly this time.

I've been napping and just being lazy.
I did s/s both toilets & dh's shower.

Shouldn't have complained about ddad & the phone. Lady w/condo in H was calling... and then his preacher called... and that's why it took so long for them to get back to me.
They want me to come out tomorrow for "final instructions" I think... so I'm just taking it easy today. I feel really nervous & jittery. I really really really dread what is going to begin with this week, and I wish I could just sleep for about a year, and maybe this would all be over w/my dad... he'd get the transplant & everything could go back to normal. Whatever that was.

Just saying hello for a minute. I lost a post, got some long server message...something is definitely going on with a lot of sites, according to what I read on a search... but it just came up nicely..

Anyway, I did a bunch of cleaning up, did some watering outside, and then I met a couple church friends at a place for lunch. After that, I went shopping and got a couple T's and got some other stuff, bread, milk, new toothbrushes, pens, a couple new pillows. I was in the mood to shop I guess.

DH was out with the teens and I thought I'd have all day, but they didn't take the trip they'd planned, went bowling and laser tag instead. So he had fun but he's napping now.

Let's see if I'm successful getting this posted...

Enjoyed Saturday night ice cream tradition. When we walk into the store, LO is met by his "girl friend" who comes around the counter to exchange hugs. The local police saw us enter the store so he stopped/came in to visit with us while we ate our ice cream (we offered him some but he said it was too cold to eat ice cream!)

When we arrived home I played a couple game of dominoes with LO. We don't play by the "real" rules but make up our own. It's all about getting him to count the dots and match them. No score it kept. Game is over when we run out of matching dominoes.

The wind is gusting over 50mph here Thankfully the temps are only in the low 30's. With the strong winds, the cold just goes through the multi-layer warm clothes so there was no outdoor time today.

Sam's had their winter clothes marked WAY down this week. I found fleece footie pj's for me. They are OH so warm! I wasn't sure I would like them so I wouldn't pay full price for them, but they were marked down to 1/3 regular price so I snagged me one to try. They are wonderful!

Time to get LO bedtime routine done. Sweet Dreams!

Dinner - done!
Dishes - done! (mostly by dh)
Sunday School - work in progress.

I've got enough supplies to make 20 bugs for the kids to eat (dh was munching on the chow mein noodles thinking I used them last week.) There is a baptism tomorrow and we've been warned to expect 20 extra people. How many of those are kids, is unknown. At 11, our Sunday School room already has a shortage of seats, so if I get 20 I'll have to move the older kids into the kitchen, setting up a table in there (I think we have a folding table in the furnace room.)

The kitchen and Sunday School room are off each other so that's the best way for me to be able to keep an eye on two groups at once (I'm assuming I'll have 2 helpers if we get to 20, I have 1 helper when we are over 8, only because the ages are so diverse, 3 - 13, that I need someone to help keep the older kids from derailing the lesson when it slows down for the younger kids.)

Not sure how much time I'll have. The kids stay up in the sanctuary until after the baptism, so I probably need 30 minutes of activities. The bugs are good for 5 minutes, there's a puzzle for 5 minutes and so I just have 20 minutes to figure out!

Thanks for that input Harriet I'd not thought of that. Blessed I would love that for mine! LOL!
We are back from town H. listened I was whiny and am better now.
It snowed today but just a skiff and hardly on the roads here at all. Chickens have not decided if they want to sleep in the coop or outside tonight yet. They sort of rotate I read where this is normal. They chose inside.

Sweet cob smells yummy they will love it. I might have to try it! Got a 55 lb. bag of it today. Third diff bag of feed this mo. that will last 4+ mo. we could not find a new handle for the ax might have to buy one but h. has been having a blast going to all the sporting good shops in town they are out of season and spring it the time to get it one place said.

I had a good day! Got some boots for dgd to wear to the chicken pen here they are so cute and pink! Found a bb in the fav. collage team for dgson today b/c he lost his new one already that he got for Christmas. Found a John Deere hat for h. for $1 and some plates with chickens on them and a wall hanging with chickens on it already hung that up. Guess what my new theme is for decorating I swore I would not do that!

Found pie for half of previously mentioned price that's what dson & I like is pie for our bday! Or any time so guess who's had some and not taking it to the pot luck! I do have a chili I will make up if we go it will too. I made up some cookie dough still need to add ch. & pb chips to it.

I got to show my chickens to some folks up the road with their kids and they said his dad wants some so they were talking about chicks for him I suggest a gift cert. and taking the gkids with when he get them instead of buying them for him in case he is not set up and told them how long it took us to get ready.

Got the grand kid schedule and house sitting figured out we have them m-fri. except Wed. for the youngest one and she has them on the weekends and Wed. we've done this before so it will work. If weather is really bad as in snow dgd will not be going to pre-school none of her grannies like to drive in that!

While working on Sunday School, remembered I need to make a presentation on the Ontario Accessibility Act for the board tomorrow after church. So dh did the photocopying for me and some of the assembly of activity stuff and also opened a half-dozen links for me so I could go over them.

I've printed off 5 different documents and will overwhelm them with paper so they won't notice I don't know anything. (What I'm reading does not match what was presented at the meeting I attended which said we have to be handicap accessible by 2020 or 2025 - which simply won't happen, we'll shut the congregation down rather than try and find over $100K to add a lift to the 120 year old, historic property listed building.
