I had bought material in early Sept. to make a curtain for dhs garage. Before I got started, dd2 wanted me to make curtains for her store. There were 6 panels and I spent the better part of a week making them. They are for her party room. The walls are out of some weird material, so that the holes will need to be drilled for the gadget that holds the curtain rod. Well guess what? The curtains are folded and sitting on a shelf. I have not complained about that to anyone IRL, but decided to vent here. Dhs H arley D avidson material sat on the dining room table until I put up the Christmas tree. Then I moved it to the R aggedy A nn room. Every. single. time. that I looked at it, I would think tomorrow. Finally tomorrow came today. I spent all afternoon but I am done.

Today dh worked on the bathroom. Both upstairs bathrooms have a wall I guess you could call it that starts above the shower doors and goes to the ceiling. The way it is made, is that it entirely encloses the shower, when the doors are shut. It's probably about 2 ft. Anyway dh cut out and removed all but 8 inches of the one in the master bath. Then he framed up that area so that he can install a light. He thought he could run the wire off the switch that runs the fan. He got it done and realized it was not going to work. He is just thrilled :x that now he will have to go up in the attic and wire off the fan. Once he gets that aggravation out of the way, he can start putting up the concrete board on the shower ceiling and walls. He is anxious to get to the tile laying and says once he starts, he will work on it after work.

I think we have decided to paint the walls in the master bath, burgundy. They will be tile part way up and painted above that. In the main bath we will paint them navy. We have spent our lives painting rooms safe colors but have decided to be bold this time around. My dfriend that moved away was telling me that there was a new house built next to them and the lady invited her to look at it. They had a bathroom with navy walls. People had told the lady that it would make the room look small and dark. Dfriend didn't agree with that at all. She really liked it and she has always painted rooms off white. So with her encouragement, we are going for it.

Just took a dose of Airborn. Was fine one minute and the next was sneezing and sniffling.

Wasn't feeling chipper in the late afternoon, took my temp and had a fever. It's down now to 98.8*, so I'm feeling better, too. I need to keep healthy as I can this week. I have an appt. later in the week, which will need to be re-scheduled if I'm running a fever. Hopefully this will run it's course by then.

Been doing laundry and planning out story titles, steps to do to get them done. Just remembered I need to go dry a load.

It's Saturday Swish and I never even Swished a toilet!

Have a great Sunday tomorrow! :D Our air inversion alert runs until Tues. night.

Good for you, LILAC, on the paint colors! I have told DH that I intend to choose colors for myself this time and not for future buyers. By the time I usually get my house like I want it, it's time to move again!

Spent part of today adding on the foam outlet and switch seals (they go under the outlet covers to block cold air). DH got the doorbell to work again. So that was progress!

It's already Sunday, so I'd better get to bed.

Hi everyone! I am doing a late CUOP and check in. Today I managed to get up and out the door to the cat clinic in a reasonable time. Guess what! WE PLACED A CAT!!! Bruno has a new home! I am hoping that Yoda can come out of boarding and go to Bruno's foster. I bought cat food and litter too. Then I went to my crochet/knit group at the coffee house. When I got home, DD10 came over. She was upset that none of the cats would let her pet them. She also complained that she watched too much TV at XDH's house. I told her she would have to find other things to do and talk to her dad about other things to do. I know she did not watch TV today, she learned to ski with XDH, the other woman, and her son. We ate then we bought the movie Gulliver's Travels and while she watched it, I got stuff done: LOL folded and put away, LOL washed and put on drying rack, dishwasher run and put away, edging removed from crochet jacket (bummer).

Tomorrow's plan: church, Chinese food, Chuck E Cheese, and a movie. After DD goes back to XDH, I need to figure out what meats to buy and cook Monday. I have only one meal left in the freezer. (Previously, I had so many, I was out of containers and the freezer was full. I had to put a moratorium on cooking!)

What is left for me to do tonight: clean off glasses, take meds, Bible reading, and bed. Good night everyone!
