Happy birthday, Mr. Lilac!
Ddad's favorite cake is German chocolate, too! Dmom always makes him one on his birthday, too, Lilac. But I don't think she did this year.
He had JUST had some the week before, at Thanksgiving, made by dstepgm.
I think I enjoy it as much as he does, LOL... but dh doesn't like coconut, either, so he sorta eats around the icing sometimes. Of course, she has three layers of icing, so that's a difficult task!
Another busy day here in LucyLand...
School, stayed late to work on newspaper
Got call from duncle, relaying message for dmom
Called dmom, who was really depressed, unusually so for her... see more in J&C...
Went to post office
Went to bank for dmom

Talked to ddad (who sounded good, really, but I suspect he just perks up for my benefit)
Need to do bedtime routine, get this last load hanging to dry, and get in BED.
Resolved: no computer until AFTER s2s tomorrow.
