You've got my vote, IVY. Cute story!

Re: Turn around Tuesday
Don't think I've posted today.
Got up a bit late, did exercise, then had breakfast. Ds got up and watched me do my exercises and we talked (which made them less boring.)
All that took lots of time so I wasn't ready to leave the house until noon. Ds and I went into the city, taking my car in for an oil change. We checked out new cars while we waited, then he went home and I went and did a cost co run, lunch, tried to exchange my pedometer (no luck) and then Wally World (x2 because I couldn't find the cheap ice packs in the first one.)
I needed 2 more ice packs because it turns out I'm supposed to ice both sides of the knee, not just the cap. Found that out yesterday. I was thinking I'd have to buy an expensive surround one when ds pointed out for $10 I could pick up 2 more of the ones I had and I'd have 4, 2 for each knee.
Bought a cheap pedometer at Wally World and will probably mail my broken one back for warranty replacement. Am very close to buying myself a Fitbit One since my sister has it and loves it. Way more money than a pedometer but it does a bit more too (like tracking number of stairs which is significant to me with my knees.)
Got home and dh was boiling. The sap was running fast this morning but then stopped because it got too warm. We ended up with almost 2 cups of syrup tonight. I did the clean up and then we had a very late dinner and I cleaned up from that too.
I spent far too long today trying to order my face cream from Amazon. I only have a week or two left on mine but 2 bottles wasn't enough for free shipping and I don't need anything else that Amazon sells. Dh finally realized we could stock up on batteries for his guitar tuner so I bought some of those, plus the autoharp strings (but those are shipped from somewhere else.) The orders will be in next week and we'll do a border run.
Dh is off to bed now. I should follow.

Re: Turn around Tuesday
Thank you, SHE's Village gals, for voting for me!
I hope everyone's able to find the "vote" button now. I can't get it to appear for me because I voted once already.
For those who have found the "vote thingy", could you tell some of our other SHE-sisters how you got there? I can't make heads or tails out of it now!
I've searched and searched!
And here, I can write a story, but I can't find the "vote" link to refer others, too. It doesn't make sense!

(((((Dee))))) & your (((((DH))))). I know that hurts terrible! I guess she doesn't comprehend things well or have any idea of time frames. I'm so sorry.

Re: Turn around Tuesday
IVY, that second link you posted took me right to the stories and the vote button.
KATHRYN, as I read that your Dh was boiling, I thought for a second that he was boiling mad. Glad he was only boiling sap!
DEE, glad you enjoyed "Germany"!
Beautiful dress, ELIZABETH!
I fiddled around with curtains this afternoon...changing them from one room to another. I think I made things worse! Must run errands tomorrow. Need to get out of the house. Felt a little stir-crazy today!
Goodnight!

Ivy, I read your short story and voted for it.
