Trying Tuesday

I realized I lived up to today's theme by trying Vietnamese food for the first time at lunch today. What I had was very good (spring rolls - have never had those before - and bbq chicken with rice.)

I'm home now after a 3 hour conversation with a church 30 minutes from here. I really liked the minister and spent a good 20 minutes talking with her about assorted stuff before going into the arranged questions because the congregants said things that could be seen as hurtful. Apparently the environment at the church is bad enough that she is bringing in mediation. Wise move, I think.

The conversation was fun and we had laughter so it wasn't a chore. The technical end went fairly smoothly but not perfect. I need to think some more on that.

I might be up when ds gets home from work because I still have to do my physio and that takes 25 minutes.
