I took a break and DH treated me with a trip to Bath & Body works for a semi-annual restocking of my favorite lotions. While at the mall, we watched LO play on children area. He had a good workout running non-stop with some other children. It is too hot to run outdoors so indoor exercise is necessary.

Today is Patch Tuesday. It is taking over an hour for each of our computers because there are a large amount of updates this month. I won't be able to get all the computers updated today so will be working on it for the next day or two.

Dinner is done. I had 5 crackers with peanut butter, a bit of salad and a cup of frozen blueberries. I might have something else later.

I'm trying alternating the meds and at first blush it seems a good move. We'll see as the days go by but at this point I'm almost 5 hours after my last dose of dilaudid and am not in really rough shape because I'm alternating with tramaset. I'm still checking vitals since my bp and temp are still up.

Once 7 hit, I turned the a/c up full. It will stay that way until 11 tonight so I'll hopefully be able to get to sleep.

I doubt I can really CUOP. Glad to see Kathryn's posting.

Well, forget that -

((helia)) what a blessing just some bruising of the lungs of a little power of a healer! (((hugs)))

Oh, we are 5 and I didn't even know - thank you Dee!

It has been 21 days since it has rained here.

Opposite - 27 out of 30 days with significant rainfall here. Problems all around, funeral director says there may be problems for us later in week, but we can't anticipate.

Wati a minute - Kathryn is home???? Maia is home?? People come and go so quickly here! I can't keep up but yay!

OKay, about hospitalists it's been that way for us for years.

Extended maternal family has been nagging me for more than a week to notice my 3rd (?) cousin Ben is winning Jeopardy and tell this to people. So there, now I have told people. have never met Ben but his grandparents are nice folks.

I am a push-me-pull-you. Tugged in so many directions. A much different time than when my mother passed away. My father knew a lot of people, while my mother was a homebody. Running out of refrigerator space and phone is nuts. All our nerves are frayed. I got out to the store and bought 4 more small frames and almost have all the photos I want to display ready. One is oddly sized 1935 one and dd33 found a sepia/gray solid piece of paper and created a mat. It looks professionally done, so I'm tickled.

One of my ddad's friends wants to speak at funeral. Minister's a little nervous about this I think. If only he knew, it will be fine, this fellow is charming and bright and understands worship services. Minister couldn't find hymn choice in the hymnal in our pews but I found it for him in my late aunt's pianist copy of Songs for Worship. That was meaningful.

I had all 4 grandboys today, too. My green-eyed boy, the youngest, was sweet to me at one point and I had to turn away from him because there was so much turmoil around us and with him being loving I thought I'd fall apart. I had to get back to the rowdy oldest ones and play. HRH taught corn-shucking to the boys today (possibly our most appreciated food gift, this was left on the porch, from neighboring farm) and WonderBoy made the thank-you call on that after eating a whole ear following the work, just adorable. "It's Yummy"

There are some bad/sad things. Ds and HRH each have some (different) heart-hurts. Again, enough said about that. Everyone is healing.

Yeah, if we go to the hospital that our insurance covers, we too would be seen by a hospitalist. We found this fact a little concerning -- until we met dfriend R, who is a hospitalist. He also does some other things - hospital administration and research and some teaching/work with med students. But his clinical time is as a hospitalist. He is a very good very conscientious caring doctor.

My car is picked up, and it is so beautiful! Nicely painted. They even vacuumed the inside, which had a kitty litter spill (clean litter, at least). As I opened the driver's door, a panel fell off! It had been loose for a long time, but they fixed it and the passenger's door anyway. I took it to the knit/crochet group, where I finished the dragon's arms. While I was doing maid prep, I called my mom. Maid prep is done, except I just realized I left one item on the kitchen table and one item in the bathroom. Easily fixed! I found a check I had forgotten to deposit, so that is ready to go. I have also put the trash out. Now it is time to hit the shower, then do more crochet with a video. Good night all!

Hi. I am having another late night here. Seems like this is the only time I can get more than a few minutes to myself on the computer. Having the dgkids here is keeping us busy. It's not just the busyness of housework - cleaning, cooking, etc. - but they are always ready to be on the go somewhere.

Dgd15 brought summer homework for a class called IB Studio Art Summer Assignment 2013. She has to create a journal workbook, (hers is a hardback sketch book), Visit at least one art gallery, journaling and art pages, and more. Yesterday we visited the Dunedin Fine Arts Museum. It's not really a museum, but more of art displays. They choose one art theme for several months at a time. This summer is a display of quilts. There were two big rooms plus a connecting hallway where quilts were hung. We might go to the Dali Museum at some point also. Dgd has to email pictures of the completed pages to her teacher by Aug 1, so a good part of this has to be done before she goes home.

Today we went to the movies and saw "The Lone Ranger". It was an action packed movie and we all enjoyed it. I'm not sure what we're doing tomorrow.

It's good to see Kathryn is home. Now you can hopefully start the real healing. I wanted to say take it slow and easy - one day at a time. My next thoughts were of the words that Cristy Lane sang "One Day At A Time...." and found myself humming the tune.

((Helia)), I'm so glad ((Maia)) is ok and home again.

Nancy, I'm glad you are feeling better. I had read about Randy Travis yesterday. I like his music, too.

OKay, you sure had a bountiful harvest!

Sadie, we have some self-checkout counters here in our W-M stores, but I don't think we have the smart phone checkouts yet. I'll have to remember to ask my ds#1 about that.

((Harriet)), It was nice to see you posting. I am glad you have your family there. You will all help each other get through this difficult time together.

Hello to everyone! I just looked at the clock -- it is now tomorrow, I better get some sleep.
