Haven't had time to cuop, but just scrolled thru and seen Dee's news that the sister died of her injuries. That just breaks my heart. I will be keeping the parents, family and friends in my prayers.

In case I don't get cuop today, I want to wish Mr and Mrs Okay Happy Anniversary!

Dee, that was a very sad event that happened nearby.

I'm glad noone had any damage in recent Canadian storms. Especially Cathy out driving in it.

We had a good long rain this afternoon. Lost satellite for a while.

DH somehow got the computer all frozen early this evening. I was able to do 3 scans and some updates and got it all fixed. He was prepared to take it to our computer guru tomorrow morning, but somehow I did it myself. Gee, I really am finally getting better with this stuff.

Nice long nap this afternoon. Dinner was leftovers from meatloaf my dfriend brought. Can't explain how much not having to cook for a few days is helping. I was really struggling with that.

Sunny, know you are going to miss your DGKids when they go back. It's nice that they were able to come for a while though.

Yesterday dstepson and HRH pulled everything out of my ddad's room and vacuumed. Furniture in the way all over the house but worth it.

I went out early this a.m. and rented a carpet cleaner. Cleaned the carpet in my ddad's room. Cleaned the machine and let it drain on the walkway, took it back tonight. Would have gone further with carpet cleaning but obviously furniture is in the way - that's all right.

Purchased painting supplies ds told me to. And he will provide others. He and ddil want to come help paint Monday.

Dd and I visited neighbor aunt in hospital and found her cheerful and alert, on IV. Took her a card and she even instructed me where to place it in the room so that she would have a view of it. I'm very relieved for her. My fondest hope is that they will get her home and back to normal routines fast.

Got card into mail for other aunt still in ICU (as expected). Got a one-day-belated birthday card into the mail. Got a sympathy letter/card into the mail for family of 3rd death in our church.

Nearly back into routines - a load of laundry was done.

Chose not to attend funeral visitation this evening for family of 4th death in our church, to take care of myself emotionally.

Happy Fortieth Anniversary to The OKays.

Lynlee, it sounds like a lovely visit to a tiny person.
