OKay, dh's bullet pen is a Space pen. You all know the joke about the space pen, right? NASA needed a pen to write in zero gravity so spent millions of dollars developing the Space Pen to issue to astronauts. The Russian cosmonauts? They were issued pencils!
Dh and I biked to the store for the mail after dinner. I'm really stiff so I did a round of physio while watching tv with ds.
Ds is at work now. It will be a long weekend for him, 8 hours on, 8 off, 16 on, 8 off, 8 on, 15 off, 8 on, then 21 hours off (but he has an eye appointment in the morning so will have to get up and get going.) Then he has 2 days off, one overnight and then another 2 days off so he can go to a weekend cottage party.
He's still in shock from spending all so much money. He only owes me $90 for his credit card debt and we are estimating $1200 for his dental work although he doesn't have to pay me for that until he gets home. So he should be in fine shape for the trip (he needs to show $5K in the bank and a return airline ticket in order to get into Australia.)
Lynlee, he'll be heading up your way at some point during the year so I'll keep you informed. If you know of anyone looking for a day labourer, he's a hard worker and smart. Pretty strong too, even though he's slightly built. He's hoping to start the trip off by doing the Spartan Race in Melbourne. The race in your area is in March and it is so much hotter then, he's really hoping to get do it in Melbourne.
