SHEs Organized

Sunny, this is the only dance studio in town. She ran it out of her basement until 2 months ago. Now it is in the basement of an orthodontists office. There are windows where you can watch the little girls, from a nice waiting room. It is just too bad that some people think they are so superior to others. I always smile and speak to anyone I meet on the street, in a store or office building. They can either reciprocate or ignore me. Dd2 has wondered if the snooty mothers have kept anyone from signing up their child again. Everyone there yesterday was very nice. It was such a different experience than the last group. Dd2 did sign dgd3 up for level 1 again. She felt like dgd3 needed to be more confident and consistent before she moves up. That is probably how we avoided the snooty gals, this time.

Dh is home and glad to be here. Dd1, dsil and dgd16 are on their way home from leaving dgs19 at the university.

Tomorrow afternoon dd2 is picking the girls up early from daycare and we are taking them and the 2 boys to ride the new train that has been added to the zoo.

Dee, I am so glad that the nurse encouraged your dh to call the cardiologist. I am praying that this time, it will turn around and his recovery can finally begin.

Dd1 called and they are home. Dsil is going back tomorrow. They had ordered dgs19s laptop and it wasn't going to be here until today. So he is taking tomorrow off and taking it, prescriptions and other things they have thought of to dgs19. I think in the end it has been harder on dsil than he had anticipated and he is glad for the chance to go back and check on him.

Well I probably need to head to bed.

Must admit, I do sometimes watch Dance Moms, but I would DEFINITELY NOT want my child subjected to such treatment, AND I would not want to deal with the moms on a personal basis! * sigh * DS did have a football coach who had about as abrasive a personality as Miss Abby on Dance Moms... but ds was in the upper grades of high school at the time. That's a little different than putting a 3-year-old under the influence of such a person, IMHO. (Good to hear that your dgd's teacher has a sweet personality, even if some of the moms do bear watching, Lilac!)

Well, I was running late to doctor's appt this morning, but I called them as I was on my way, and they said not to worry. I ended up getting there only 5 minutes late, and then, guess what! Doctor had to go to hospital to deliver TWO babies, and what is usually less than 30 minutes in/out of the office turned out to take TWO HOURS. I was fine... just played Suduko on my phone and waited. and waited. and waited.

Then I looked all over town for a top like the one I let get away... with no luck... but settled for something that will be just as much appropriate, and maybe make me look a little slimmer than the one I passed on earlier.

Made two stops for dmom, went to her house, took out the trash, brought in the mail, made her throw away the junk mail... That's a REAL stumbling-block for her! We both talked to my daunt on the phone while I was there.

Home... back to town for our supper, bank, post office to mail bill... finally home.
DS & dgs are over here and dgs is sleeping in his little car seat carrier. DS wants to work on some video stuff w/dh and ddil is working. I sorta hope dgs is out for the night.

I haven't been here since Sunday, I don't think. The grandsons went home the 10th. We have a free week of no grandsons, but DH has wood-getting M-W-F, I had 2 appt.'s this week, got another story in, "tweaked" my knee so am hobbling, icing, and elevating. My knee needs to remind me occasionally that he's a knee and likes to act up from time to time. Was in PT for it in 2002, so know all my PT knee exercises. Guess it's time to start them again and the ones for the shoulders, too. There are the back ones, too.
