Home again, finally. We had a long meeting after all, and talked about all kinds of issues. I wish I had enough bandwidth to follow up on all of them. Dh and house guest still not here. I fed and walked ddogs when I got here, then had a sandwich.

I don't know what the drop off time/pick up time is for tomorrow - I emailed earlier asking but no response. Hopefully M (our houseguest) will know.

Nothing whatsoever on calendar for tomorrow except for drop off and pick up. I need to catch up on a ton of paperwork and other things here at home. Thursday there's nothing on calendar except to cook/set up for a little dinner party. I think grilled salmon with avocado sauce on the side, couscous and a veggie or salad? Some little appetizers, and I need to figure out an easy dessert - maybe Indiana's apple clafouti with ice cream?

I am getting on PJs and heading toward bed. Will need to get up and consult when dh and houseguest get home.

Quick ci: IVY -- NOOOO -- I don't have/haven't had cancer!!! I've had the MOLE my whole life. And it is NOT getting noticably larger. Dermatolgist has looked at it at least twice in the last five years or so and says not to worry about it, if it isn't bothering me, I shouldn't bother it. However -- it IS beginning to bother me more.
I don't know if that is b/c it IS getting larger, OR... b/c I stupidly tried to SHAVE over it a few years ago. Dermatologist said, noooo, never SHAVE over a mole. (Duh, right?) He said just TWEEZE if you feel the need to.

Well... hope I cleared that up.
Home from nursing home visit... ate supper... watching dgs while ds/ddil go out to eat.
Tomorrow is another day.

Sending Happy Birthday Wishes to Blessed w2! I hope you have had a happy, pleasant day!

I have skimmed today's posts, but will probably go back and read again later as I am getting very sleepy right now. I have been waking up early around 6:30 am (early for me - as I know many of you are up and about by that time). Most of the time I do not go back to sleep, so I either nap during the day, or am ready to sleep by 10 pm. I prefer not to nap as it breaks up the day and I don't get as much done after that.

((Dee))....Hopefully that dreaded letter will be the means to a better end!

Kathryn....You've done a good job in decluttering/organizing your clothes. I will view that as inspiration as that is one of the tasks I had on my Special Projects Cards!

OKay....Good idea you had to switch task times around. I have to ask--are all your cards digital now, or do you still have paper 3 x 5s? How many are there in total? (I'm sure you have already stated this, but I don't remember.) 500+ is way way more than I have written! I'm trying to picture how much room in a shoebox it would take!
....Crickets---Yikes! what a big job to to deal with! I only see a few crickets, grasshoppers, locusts etc every summer. But when our boys were young and in Scouts their troop had a field trip to our Coast Guard station. I remember it being very warm weather and that evening we toured the airfield and hangers to see the planes and helicopters. We had to watch where we walked because the whole area was covered with what they called mole crickets. There were so many it was not easy to miss wherever one stepped! These were big tanish creepy-looking, not like the cute little black Jiminy Cricket kind!

((Ivy))....Best wishes for the mole removal!

Lucy....I'm glad you had a nice evening of shopping, dinner and a show!

Harriet....Congratulations to dstepdil on her certification!

Cowinkie....I'm happy you had such a nice vacation. Good luck with your future plans!!

We've had the home health nurse here yesterday for dh. He's been expecting the PT nurse to call also, but so far no one has called. He seems to be doing all right, still has to take the pain meds, but I think it will be some time before he won't hurt while walking.
I'm pleased when I hear that others here who are recouperating are getting better!

That's all I can remember at the moment --- hello to everyone!

I did three of today's tasks. And one that wasn't assigned to today. That makes a total of 6/22 items done. I was thinking that was great progress until I realized it is Tuesday and not Monday. Ooops.

Tomorrow is sort-of free so I'll buckle down some more and hopefully knock off some easy items. Thursday is booked solid until 4 p.m.

Friday should be free.

Got two emails about the items I put up for sale. We'll see if this turns into anything. I really, really, want the wardrobe gone before dh gets home. The fireplace would be a bonus.

Lycylee, Thanks for clarifying on your mole. I didn't know that about shaving over them. NOT that I save my nose, but have 1 on my leg.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BLESSED!

Sunny, Thanks for the best wishes on the mole removal. It's in 2 weeks. I wonder how long it takes to do a biopsy? :?: I'll ask my dr. when he removes it.

Dee, I hope you got the letter done and it'll be the end of it. It's hard not to ruminate after doing some things. :(

Kathryn, I do work while watching TV movies. So you might be able to multitask, too.

DH and dfriend might not get wood in the a.m. again, due to rain. Seems like we're having a short rainy period when it was beautiful and sunny about 5 days. :?:

Have a GR8 night's sleep, Everybody! :D

Oh my goodness! I always forget to check the important dates. I hope blessed checks in over here...

:D :D :D Happy birthday, blessed!!! :D :D :D

Ivy -- I was using an electric shaver, too! Just a word to the wise. -- But my mole has always been the raised kind -- about the size of a pencil eraser. Well, not that "high" -- just sorta that diameter.

Well, good night to all. See y'all tomorrow.
Tomorrow is another day.
