OKay, I agree with MT about the circus. Not worth having a lousy day tomorrow. I also wondered about your meeting with his older dbros recently, whether he had picked up on some anxiety there.

Tomorrow, thanks to my phone calls, I'll drop Moe off for a bath, get my toes done, and then take dMacs to vet for senior ck up. This is the first time he's been in since last April when he was really, really sick. I'm devoting Wednesday to temple biz because there's a board meeting that evening, and Thursday I need to get dmom back to doc for bloodwork and a flu shot.

After supper I washed a drainer of dishes then went for a walk in the pasture with LO. Back inside to do more homework. He finished 3 more pages and read a small book to me. All of Monday homework is done, signed and put into his backpack.

Thanks for the circus input! I'm taking your advise.

LO to driving the *(U#*$# lawnmower while DH watches him. This is the first time he has drove it since he got caught driving it with his feet.

I have 24 minute break. Going to have a cup of coffee and enjoy it

I got the first coat of paint on the coop exterior wnd it is looking much better. Got dgd from pre school, dd called dgson only had half day today oops! I was not home in the time slot. But he gathered eggs and called his mom and drew doing some art work until his mom came to get him so he could work with his dad.

Dgd had an absolute absolute blast helping me paint today. I was able to save the lowest boards around the bottom of it for her to do.

when I moved some blocks and there were lots of worms and bugs so most of them have white white paint on them. It is very blustery outside now perfect for drying paint.

Time for me to heat up the soup.

I was nodding off in front of my laptop, working on a sudoku this evening. I've found these "evil" level sudokus at the sudoku web site which I really enjoy. Though, I was enjoying so much tonight I couldn't stay awake. . . . LOL!! Then, I woke up and solved the puzzle.

This afternoon: I got the groceries bought and put away, picked up Maia who was rather out of it and is currently just rather quiet (nice change of pace), got enough Hebrew translated, went to Hebrew class, got a quick dinner of leftovers on the table in time for dd15 to eat before going to drumline practice at 7. Dh and I then cleaned up the kitchen.

Yesterday, I gave the potential ccc (child care coordinator) some options re: times to meet this week, including tomorrow afternoon -- not thinking that I might need tomorrow afternoon to make the meal I'm bringing to S and R tomorrow night. (I'm making bbq ribs + mashed potatoes, etc.) Also, dd15's oboe lesson is late tomorrow afternoon. Well, you guessed it - the potential ccc ended up choosing tomorrow afternoon, of course. . . . . I'm thinking it should work if I get some things prepped after teaching team meeting and before heading to the church to meet with her. In a way, this may work out nicely in time slot tetris as it will keep Wed. morning AND afternoon free for puttering around the house, getting caught up on some things. My schedule tomorrow will be a bit tight.

OK - I'm going to switch laundry now and work on reading book for teaching team meeting tomorrow a.m.

Helia reminded me of a laundry situation I have going on.

I also have to do up the dishes. I'm having trouble tearing myself away from the computer today. Tomorrow I'm away all day so nothing will get done.

I 'jokingly' referred to my kids abandoning me in a fb post and it is being taken as a harsh thing to say. I toned it down in another comment but not sure it is fair to back away completely from the abandon comment since for the past year dd had talked about moving here and then chose to live near her friends rather than her family. That's fair (no job in either place for them) but it does feel like a slap in the face. Especially when she talks about how much she wants me to live near her when she has children. So it is okay to expect me to give up my friends, church and job. But not her to start a life here.

Ds hasn't abandoned me, the joke there is we abandoned him, moving while he's away. (We have assured him we'll make a place for him when he returns until he gets on his feet but it won't be the same since it won't be a big house but a much smaller apartment and it won't be a room set aside specifically for him.)

I have spiffed up the batjroom, and our bedroom.
After doing outside stuff for 4 days the house is strating to suffer. Every room needs attn.
So now I am trying to do rbrs taking a breather before I go back into get more counter space cleared.

We rented life of PI this weekend. Still thinking about that one.

I am toying with the idea of replacing a rugsusa rose in the hedge they are half off now.

My 3 nose stitches were removed this afternoon. Now I have a mark where the surgery was done and stitches were, but it'll be gone in 1 - 1 1/2 years- OR SOONER- the nurse said!

We drove by the used book exchange, the building was empty, but there were street corner people holding up signs to advertise the liquidation of an office store here. Went there, bought 4 bright red gel pens for $4.99. I've got the complete set, from another store, they're vivid, bright and are "Pilot G-2 07" gel pens with the top that clicks when you want to write. I'd ran out of the red ones, twice, so had no more. Sure did miss my RED, so now I'm very happy I've got 4 red pens. They're long-lasting ones, too.

Got 1 letter, from a FL pal, who always signs her letters "In Friendship!" and today's letter said, "Love," and her name. ♥ It made me feel like "I've arrived!" and it made me FEEL loved because she's finally written that to me.

I have decided that -- apparently -- it takes 3 days to recover from a 3 day trip. * sigh *
I've done nothing but read today, when I wasn't running errands.
MUCH other stuff that should have been done but nope, I didn't do any of it.

OH -- ONE DEFINITELY NON-GRUMPY THOUGHT!!!
DGS is walking quite well now, AND he has added "car" to his words -- and will say it on command at times. I can relax a bit about those little milestones, LOL.
