A few things were accomplished today, but several of those were toward projects that fell through. I did get to clothes shopping for myself, and basically bought what dd15 told me to. Thank you, Belk, for telling the salespeople to just keep the current newspaper coupons at the register and TELL the customers when they deserve a better price. Who does that? I was really appreciative. A $48 cardigan was $25 after "my" coupon.

HRH's friend came back to spend several hours tonight before his plane leaves, right in the middle of my LR and kitchen, since I had nothing to do. :|

Ds called with another computer/scan/need or something and kept HRH busy a while.

Tomorrow must be packed.

I need to make deviled eggs, wrap 10 gifts and visit my colorist. HRH is threatening to make a dessert himself to take, since all my plans and dd33's plans for desserts have fallen through. (Dsonil has made the same threat.) But then, HRH has also admitted he really needs to do some other things tomorrow, so I doubt his ideas will happen.

We've given Tobias his meds pretty well. I like the "pill pockets" thingies. Vet gave us some of the big dog kind and explained how she just takes a bit from those to mold around small cat meds, thereby saving money. I didn't think it would work with the capsule, but it did.

Happy you got to visit such an important person, OKay.

The boys will be home tomorrow. Dd2 was cleaning house tonight so that they can do their Christmas baking this weekend. Those little girls are always ready for their brothers to come home.

Also, dgs19 will be home tomorrow evening after finishing his first semester of college. He loves to play games, so we have been talking that we need to make sure we have some game days while he is home.

I haven't got a list together of what I still need but I do have an updated list of all gifts that I have already purchased. Tomorrow will be a full shopping day.

Elizabeth, it looks like you are going thru a if it rains, it pours faze. That faze always hits at the worst time, weather wise, money wise, job wise, the holidays, etc. I was so excited to see how much your dd11 likes to read. I have always wished that I could read for a living. I would do a great job of it. :)

Okay, I am glad that you found the stove you wanted and are now back in business.

Harmony, my last 2 homes have had stoves with the flat glass electric top, too. This one is a drop in stove. When we replace it, we might cut the bottom out and just get a regular style stove that will slide in. Probably depends on availability and price.

Quick check in. Good rest of the day. Then ds called and I've been on the phone with him for 2 hours. He's got wifi so free skype now.

<SIGH> The job I was planning to apply for is no longer available. I have gone through and saved several more. What do these people do? Check my application plans and close accordingly. Still need to do cat care. I have at least found a more comfortable way to sit at my computer.
