Stamps - I ordered for us. A pretty large order for us, too, I suppose, Sunny, both forevers and smaller ones to use up some stamps I had here. Always pleased when I order, so prompt and well packaged and no errand, gas spent, or line to stand in. And they always have all the stamps.

Thanks, Sunny, for the info that WMart put a "fabric dept" into a new store. At one time, it was doubtful they were going to continue that.

Makes me think of Sadie and hope she is feeling better.

I don't really know what it is I want from my church. I used to be so disappointed that there was no more telephone prayer chain to let members know about the church family. They e-mail now, to share news, but it is always late news or shocking in its references to things never mentioned before. Today an e-mail saying that our minister's wife's surgery went well - what surgery? :( This is the first it's been mentioned, so what is a person to think? A few more details make it sound like it must have been surgery to remove a cancer, but that's just guesswork, and guesswork we shouldn't be making by just reading e-mails. So I guess I can't be satisfied. Like I said, what DO I want, then. There is a danger that telephoning starts becoming a gossip chain, too, with too much chatting about people, so not sure going back to that is wise.

Prompted by the discussion here (Thank you!), I just placed an order for forever stamps. I was surprised the post office charged for delivery of their stamps to my post office box which is inside of their building.

FNG was good tonight. LO was sooooooooooooo well behaved.

MPB had a pump blow out which means DH is working nonstop until it is replaced. Hopefully it will only take a few more hours.

In the morning I will pick up DGS16, DD, DGD2 and they will join us eating breakfast at fundraiser. I need have LO up/dress and to be out of the house by 7:30am. Looks like my one day to have a slow morning isn't going to happen this week.

Sweet Dreams

Kathryn, I'd posted earlier about how rested, relaxed and revived you and Ken looked in your beautiful photos.

But searching here, on the threads, I can't find the post now. I wonder where it went. :?: It's the first time I've had a post disappear like this. :o Does this happen occasionally? :?: Just curious.

DH and I are feeling better. :) :) I need to make a grocery list for him for tomorrow. He refuses going during Sunday's game.

Oh, OKay, that's strange about the p. o. charging for delivery of their stamps to your p. o. box, which is in their building. :?: I've never heard of that before.

Harriet, It's good you're thinking ahead to the stamps and rate hike, too.

Where we live, there are 2 WM who have no fabric, but 1 who does, kept it when they remodeled, and I'm so glad. :D

(((((Sadie))))), Hope your pain's less, the rest is more restful, and you're healing better, too.

Sunny, Your new WM sounds like a "super WM store", like they build sometimes, when they build new ones.

Nancy, I liked your Mr. Polar Vortex joke!

(((Dee))) You and Mr. Dee have a safe trip up North in the Polar Vortex weather, too! Will be thinking of you both!

CathyS, SO glad it was benign! :!: :P

Nancy, Thanks so much to let me know where my post had gone. ;)

I hope you'll start feeling better after getting a good night's sleep; hoping for a good night's sleep for you.

I need to run and write my "to do" list out for tomorrow and finish writing DH's grocery list. Need to let the cat in from the garage, too. Am just now starting to write another letter, but may need to start it tomorrow, since I'm running out of steam and am more tired now.

I can't believe tomorrow's Saturday! Wow! :o :!:
