Happy Birthday Mr. OKay! I'm sorry there is another big repair to do.
Harriet, good luck with all the social happenings and planning. I know it's a very stressful time.
I did my shopping on the way in yesterday and found an adorable birthday gift for DGD7. I took it in to show DH with the card so he could sign. I left so late last night that I was too tired to do much of anything after I got home.
I fell asleep on the couch again and got up in the middle of the night and got that package wrapped and packed up for mailing, also another one I wanted to get in the mail.
This morning was a huge rush. Emptied Dishwasher, folded last LOL, tidied up master bedroom and put blankets on the bed. Moved some furniture around. Measured some things for DH who was worried about how his walker would fit in the bathroom... stopped at post office on the way in. Loaded up all his junk from his room.
Unloaded everything after a stop at pharmacy, and put it all away. It's nice to have everything organized again. Friend called to say they would come with dinner and stay to visit and eat with us. Nice. So I made a salad and set the table. Visit was nice.
Whew. DH is doing ok. I am exhausted.

I just conked right out! Did decluttering for donation, cleaned bureau drawers, did 3 lol. DH got taxes done. Will go sign, pay, pay IRS, etc.. soon. Decluttered the end table top. My FOCUS today for the great room area a. k. a. living room, was only noticing the dust on furniture, mantel, and wood floors. My energy failed me today, was tired, read, a lot, but got 2 mailers off to DD and another to Dgrson/his 3 youngest siblings.
