Good Afternoon, Ladies!
The on shore flow burned off, it's sunny and gorgeous out, DH and Dgs got firewood, with 2 of DH's buddies. The load went to the 1 buddy, who works when he's able to. Has a house down here and up in Seattle, he burns wood at, when he's wherever he's at. I napped from 11 a.m. - noon, then the guys were done with wood. Dgs showered, I've been doing laundry ever since, the jeans are drying and last LOL is washing. Hoping to report by 5 p.m. or "at" 5 p.m. that I've gotten my 10 x 5 all done before or at 5 p.m.
Been working on a story by hand, finished it, am starting another story by hand. Got a letter today, a short one, so in the a.m., if I'm up way before everyone else, I'll go to the main office, close the door and reply to the letter in there. I have these 2 nifty clipboard storage containers, which are a clipboard you fit papers, notebooks, pen, etc.. inside. So her letter's all addressed, my card is ready with a kitty picture from my desk calendar, she'll laugh at, and a bookmark, since she's an avid reader, too. She gets her books from a large print book club. Such a neat idea for older folks. She just retired from nursing.
Sadie, Can you tie your apron behind your back yet? The reason I ask is this. My rotator cuff surgery was Nov. 2010, and yesterday, I took off my cardigan at the laptop, at the desk, was trying to remain sitting in my chair, as I put the cardigan around the top of the chair, inside the back/shoulders. Boy!

That was a really good PT exercise! Wore me out, but I did it without pain. Glad you're working with 3 Lbs. weights, have twins helping you, do housework, too. Any word yet on the insurance approval for DS-18? All my best on that.
Kathryn, You'll love having DSon home.

You and Ken, both. Enjoy him!
Ramblinrose, I'm so glad P & P helped you in your classroom with organization skills. They help me with my writing and if I find myself frazzled, I look at my card folder and make that OMM list.

You sound like a good teacher. (I know there are more than just 1 teacher here, too.)
Ducky, Are you a full-time teacher now?

When I knew you on the other SHE board, you were substituting all the time. If you're full-time now, just know I'm so HAPPY FOR YOU!

Congratulations. It's a very worthwhile profession.
Lucylee, Are you feeling any better by now? I hope you get better soon.

You MUST be better with a long productive post like you did. Wow!
I tweaked my knee 4 days ago. I banged into a round silver knob on my left-side bathroom cabinet door and when I did, I twisted my knee away, to the side, real fast, and tweaked it. Today, after my nap and lunch, since I'm up and down doing laundry, I decided to ice, elevate, then wear my knee brace prescribed to me by an orthopedic surgeon, although I've never had knee surgery on the right knee in 2002, I did have PT.

I recollected PT exercises, drew them in my journal, and need to start doing them. It's a wonderful knee brace, black with Velcro on the top and bottom, and a very supportive well-padded circle hole for the knee. I'm feeling better by reclining, as I write by hand on stories. I'm going to see the Dr. in 2 weeks, so I'll "see" how it is then. I'm sure it's just from the "knob incident." And nothing real serious.
Have an awesome later afternoon!
BBL!

I'm back. My LOL dinged exactly AT 5 p.m., I'm doing the 10 x 5 p.m., so I was real excited to be able to report how I finished #10 on my list "AT" 5 p.m. However, when I went to the dryer, my LOL was still damp, so I missed the deadline.

I'll try better tomorrow, but I DID do quite well this a.m., getting 9 things done by 1 p.m., so I'm not going to be so hard on myself. As Scarlett used to say, "There's always tomorrow." Or she said something like that.
