Lucylee, The fires in Eastern Washington State are 75 miles from Seattle. There is the Cascade Mountain Range and Mount Rainier separating Eastern WA from Western WA. The news said the smoke from Eastern WA won't get to Seattle for one more week, they are forecasting. I sure hope they could get some rain. It sure would help the air quality there, the fire fighters on the front lines, and everything.
In Western WA State, there have been fires popping up, like apartment fires, fires along highways and the freeways, too. Everything's so dry. There were spotty showers, in some places, today, but not at our place down South.
Nancy, That's too bad about you not being able to get a news about the fires there.
If you did a "Google" Search for KOMO-TV, Seattle or KING-TV, Seattle or KIRO-TV, Seattle, you'd be able to read the news of the fires on-line at the TV sites.
I need to turn off the laptop, go elevate my feet, because I just took a shower and when I put lotion on my legs, my right ankle/shin area, about 5" up the leg show these little tiny navy blue veins. DH said I must have been on my feet too long today. I'd been up since 5:25 a.m., did 3 LOL, walked 30 minutes, etc... I'll go put my feet up now.
Have a great day tomorrow, Everybody!
