Kathryn, it doesn't seem like 2 years since you were ill. I sure understand just how quickly stuff deteriorates when we're not on top of things.

My Yuck goes back to the spring when life caught up with me, and I started taking that medicine in June, and then gradually tapering off it. It absolutely killed any ambition I had, all my energy, etc. I became agoraphobic and a sleep-aholic!

This week I could actually feel my brain "wake up". Of course, along with the energy and ambition, some of the anxiety returned. But I think I have a new way of looking at things that will be helpful. And I have given myself "permission" to just stop and rest if I'm feeling stressed, something I've never really done. It's hard living with a workaholic, makes me feel lazy and worthless unless I'm working full tilt all the time.

So I did finish at the desk and went to the bank. The daily rain storm came and I got a sandwich and sat in a parking lot and just enjoyed the radio program and the rain for a while. I also called my DGS who had been calling me. He gets sad if I don't talk to him pretty regularly, as if I don't care about him. I am lucky that he wants me to be close to me like this. He had called to tell me he'd fainted inside his house a couple days ago. He's got the flu or something respiratory going on and his Mom was trying to look at his throat and as he tipped his head back he fainted and fell to the floor. Yikes! He said he slept a lot today.

Got my groceries. For the first time in months it felt good to be outside and amongst people. I saw myself in a mirror as I walked by, oh my, I didn't buy a lot of sweets today, that's for sure.

MT, cookies smell delicious. We had 4 people die but none of them wanted a service. We sure would have been busy.

We lost our water again and this time HRH couldn't do his magic and fix it, even with ds here to help. We've been waiting for a week on the repairman. He says he will be here in the morning.

Funny how this changes everything in the daily routine. I think I'll just go to bed, since exercising as I planned will only mean I need to drink water and that will only mean I need to go to non-working toilet in the night. Oh well.

Kathryn, that is a lousy turn of events for dsil.

Ds came by with my green-eyed boy3. What a joy this little one is becoming. He is so exuberant with the smallest new adventures and will spontaneously run to me to hug me with delight.

Ds and I had a long talk about his concerns for coworkers, some of which I might mention in J and C.
