Hello again for another check in. I have done job search activities, left my parents a voice mail, and emailed the X. Remaining essential is finish weaving the one end that got overlooked on the shawl. However, I am ravenous and will have a snack first. I forgot about exercise until now, but it is dark out and I don't want to walk in the dark.

FelineFriend: The jacket in question is for an adult (my art teacher) and is purple! I was trading it for art classes. The yarn I used was not the type called for in the pattern (laceweight or size 0), but size 10 cotton doubled. Size 10 is what Barbie doll patterns usually call for. I did have to use a different hook size than the pattern specified, but the gauge came out right, so it worked.

Nancy I'm also a lazy kate!

The movie was fun although it was cool. Ds wasn't well enough to come and I'm not sure dh should have. His congestion is bad. Sometimes it was hard to hear the dialog in the movie with the sound of the waves behind us. The movie was actually set up on the lawn in front of the beach, not the beach itself.

I'm up way too late again but got another travelog off. Will post a few pictures over in MO. Here

Elizabeth The jacket sounds awesome! :P

Nancy, Thanks for letting me know what a lazy Kate was. :)

Kathryn, That's funny that you're a lazy Kate,too!

DH's dfriend, who had cancer, passed away tonight. His name was Keith. His cancer came back, DH last saw him in July, and Keith was determined to lick it again. Now his suffering and pain is over with. If there's a funeral, DH said he'll attend it, too.

OH, MY! :o :!: It's turning 11 p.m. and I need to use my QVAR, floss teeth and shower before bedtime. :!: I've been writing letters. Just sent Ddil kitty cat stickers for 2 grandsons, a recipe for grilling shrimp and veggies in aluminum foil on the grill, and a coupon for the DW. I told her she could "improvise" the recipe for the grill, too.

It'll be in the lower 70's here again Friday the 22nd, but heats up into the 80's this weekend.

Goodnight, Everybody! It's hard to believe it's Friday tomorrow! This week's gone so quickly for me! I guess being busy is a good thing, because I'm certainly NOT bored or depressed! Just too busy!
