Norma: it sounds like an add-on/extension to your browser has been installed (sometimes they come when you install other software.) I know there's one Skype likes to attach that highlights all phone numbers on a webpage and offers to dial them for you when you scroll over them. Such extra 'help' I don't need.
If you are using Chrome, under settings there you can click on Extensions and then manage any extensions. There's a way of managing them in Firefox as well.

Re: Hither and Thither on Thursday
Hmmm, it is quiet in the village now.
Dh and I walked back to the neighbourhood where I went today and had dinner at a chicken and ribs place. I liked it a lot. Dh liked elements of it. The service was excellent even though the place was packed and our server had 7 tables to herself. It is in an old house so the main floor is the living/dining room of the house and upstairs has additional seating and was handled by another waitress.
We walked there on side streets and back along the main road, learning about all sorts of interesting looking shops including two Italian grocery stores, a music store and two bike shops. We then stopped in at a grocery store and I picked up the groceries I need for dinner tomorrow night (leek and potato soup.)
It was a nice evening. And I'm at 16K steps for the day (and a bit sore!)

Kathryn , Your walk and dinner sounded so nice to me!
This is a quick C. I.
I picked up in the MBR, Mbathroom, GR8 room, etc... Put stuff away, tidied a bit of this and that, folded 1 LOL and put it away. DH is watching "Jeopardy," for the first time in YEARS! I guess this is what old retired folks do when baseball season's over?
We'll watch "Parenthood," at 10 p.m. Sure do love that show!
Have a GR8 evening, Everybody! I agree, it IS QUIET here tonight!

Re: Hither and Thither on Thursday
DH turned on CBS to watch "The Big Bang Theory," and we just left it on, have been watching sitcom after sitcom, laughing a LOT, while I crochet on a potholder. I've got 1 side, nearly done, will try to finish the other side, tonight, too, but I might not be able to, as it took me 3+ hours to do this complicated, very fancy pattern a few weeks ago. I've been procrastinating ever since, on trying to get the #2 one done.
I read 2 things from Messies Anonymous newsletter:
1- Good enough is good enough. (They were referring to our perfectionism.)
2- Finish what you have started. (How many times to we flit from project flower, to project flower, not getting anything concrete completed?).
I liked reading both of those things. They made an impression on me, for some reason. I tend to try to be a perfectionist, but realize nobody nor nothing IS perfect. Also, I tend to change my mind, mid-way through a project, or get bored with it, put it down, "switch tasks" and go onto something else. I don't actually know if it's just me, my grandmother was like this, OR if it's a SHE trait? Maybe someone can shed light on it? I'm not entirely certain, but I do believe I've read someplace, how it's a SHE truism through and through. So how can a true SHE be perfect? She's just NOT, never WILL be, so SHE's just need to accept ourselves, love ourselves, and get over it.
