Glad to hear that Pepper's appetite is back. It will make Helia's life easier as well when she administers the meds.
Strange day here. I barely did anything but managed to water the plants, wind the clocks and do laundry. I cooked dinner and helped dh put the stamps on the calendars at the post office (we had to go to two post offices to find one with $10 stamps in stock.)
There were police cars and an ambulance in the driveway as we left and the manager was talking to one officer. Didn't know what to make of it except we know both are dispatched when dead body is found. There was no sense of rush so I figured body as opposed to medical emergency.
Later, riding the elevator at rush hour, I learned that it was the assistant superintendent. He had a massive heart attack and died. He was only 48. We really liked him, he always had a smile on his face and a wave for us. He'd hang out in the summer by the garage entrance where there's always a breeze and if I drove up, he'd trigger the opener for me so I didn't have to lean out of the car window. I'm really sad.
Class tonight was interesting but I'm not feeling well at all. Bad indigestion. So I'm off to bed now (will take a Tums) and will try and sleep. I'm short steps for the day but will let it go.
