That IS amazing, Rose!!! You have had such interesting experiences!

Our geneology search didn't result in any really WOW moments, I don't think -- all these cemeteries were within probably 15-20 miles of the house. I guess dh just found some greats that he didn't know where they were buried, and maybe a great-something grandmother's parents, where he had not known the maiden name before? I'm not sure. We had been to two of the cemeteries numerous times before, but one was a surprise to us. And you know what, when we got there, the stone just says "Grandma (Last Name") and Grandpa (Last Name"). No dates, no nothing else. * sheesh * DH said maybe by the time the grandchildren or great-grandchildren got around to putting up stones they had forgotten first names? I think that is ridiculous, but there was nothing else around that was legible to give us a clue to the names. This is dh's grandmother's great-grandparents, I think. So... long before his time. DH never knew any of his great-grandparents, and I doubt if his mother knew hers on this side of the family.

DH is doing a crossword puzzle -- this is a daily thing -- and asking me questions... "(whatever clue)" and then spelling out weird letter combinations... "F-I-blank-blank-blank-I-A-L" -- This drives me totally insane. I know I am an English major but I cannot come up with these words in my head. I have to LOOK at the puzzle and SEE the words and I just go crazy when he starts in on this. He says these crossword puzzles are keeping him from getting Alzheimer's... Once when ds was here and he started in, ds said, "Now just whose brain are we exercising here?" Nah, really, he does 99% of the puzzle silently... and then he starts asking for help to complete it. He reads 3 papers a day, you know, and does ALL the word puzzles in all of them, and he is completely OCD about it. There MUST be someone for everyone, b/c I don't know who else could live with dh... * shaking my head * Of course, not many people could put up with my anxiety-obsession attacks, either. Just dh and you girls. ;)
Tomorrow is another day.

When dh can't find anything else to watch, he will watch the Food channel. He particularly likes Guy Fierri's Dives, Diners and Drive-Ins or whatever it is called. I found a cookbook of Guy's that is for grilling, camping, etc. I ordered it for dh for Christmas. I also found the girls a set of Elsa and Anna mugs and ordered them. So far I have only bought for them and this book for dh.

Thanksgiving is 2 weeks from tomorrow and Christmas is 6 weeks from tomorrow. Yikes!

Dh found out that he will need to work into January to grow his retirement fund. But he only needs to work 1 day, so I don't know if his last day will be Jan. 2 or Jan. 5.

The bug guy called tonight and wants to spray tomorrow. He is coming at 10 am. I will start on the freezer project after he leaves.
