:D Wmart done, plus stop at second grocery store, and phone call to dcousin to confirm my substitution of cherry cool whip/jello salad rather than brocolli salad from Wmart...
:D Supper eaten, kitchen cleaned up...
:D DH has started towel laundry marathon... I will NEVER cease to * shake my head * at the insanity of this routine...
:D Sending messages to dfriend re: ordering monogrammed sweatshirts from her.
:D Activated my B luebird card for Wmart savings and entered receipt from today. (I already have $12 in this account, and have only done 3 receipts! Woo hoo! Something makes me wonder if the double dollars is just a promotional thing that will end after the first of the year, but even if it does, I'll be no worse off.)
 Also shaking my head at the insanity of my eating. Started out good, had a salad... then frozen pizza... and then... ugh -- ALL of a king size Almond Joy bar/package. It is really ridiculous how oversize packaging messes with your mind -- my mind, at least. There's no way I would sit down and open two separate Almond Joy candy bars and eat both of them at once... but put them in one package and I (apparently) thought nothing of eating all 4 pieces at once. * sheesh *

Must call dbil re: Thanksgiving plans...

Dh left for a church meeting an hour ago. Dd16 left for her concert about 1.5 hours ago. Dd19 took my van to meet up with the kids (and adults) going to tutor. Darn, I'm stuck at home alone w/out a car to run errands. :D I couldn't have coordinated this any better if I had tried.

--I've been sidetracked playing on this machine, so I need to get off and finish cleaning up the kitchen now. I have fed the ddogs.

Definitely a happy dance moment, Nancy!

Called dbil, and as predicted, he declined my invitation to Tgiving dinner with our thundering herd -- but I left it open to him if he changed his mind. He sounded like he really appreciated the invitation though, so I'm glad I asked.

Helped DH in the shop this evening. He was getting recycled metals ready to take, which means a lot of stripping, taking things apart, etc. We emptied all the buckets of stuff sitting around and 3 hours later it was all loaded, ready to go. I don't know why, but he loves to have me around when he's working. If I stayed around as much as he'd like I'd get absolutely nothing done.

I'm a little apprehensive getting everything done before the holiday, but I'm trying to believe if I just keep on doing things, it'll all come together. A trip didn't used to be this worrisome. It always makes for a busy time, but I didn't used to think I couldn't do it. I guess I don't trust that I can keep up with anything these days.

I noticed both DH and I are struggling to do the easiest things, like bending to pick up something off the ground. We talked about it a bit, and he said well that's old age. I guess so.

(((Harmony))) I wish I could introduce you and my dmom, LOL. She would sympathize so much... Ddad always liked to have her close at hand when he was working on something, too.

I put away laundry, spent some more time organizing Christmas lists, and did 15 minutes walk away the pounds.
Oh -- and sorta "faked" watching a ball game with dh.
