(dh has only done a few hours of work in Canada because no-one here thinks he's worth what he charges.)

On a related note, people around here often ask what ds is doing these days, and when we say he's playing music, they respond, "Do they PAY him?"

* sigh * So I can't have orange half-moon bullets? * sheesh *

Harriet, those baby girl dresses sound sooo adorable. Maybe someday I'll have a baby girl to dress too. Or not. Baby girl clothes can become very expensive, I fear. Baby boys are much easier, IMHO.

Harriet, I thought of you Monday morning when I realized my 4 year old iron had died on me. When I told dd1 about it, she told me that I had wore it out because I iron so much.
Dm and I hit WM and I was able to pick up another B lack and D ecker Classic iron.

We have a dusting of snow on the ground. I think the worst will miss us.

When dm had for sure decided to stay with her db and family, she wanted me to call db1, because she needed to call her patrons and move their appointments until Friday. About 8:30, daunt called to see if she had left, when, etc. I apologized to her that dm or I hadn't called. Both daunts ask dm to call them when she leaves their house at night and drives 30 miles home.

I have been working on my Christmas list. I am pretty much done but would like to find something else for dgd18 and dgs20. But I hate to just buy to be buying. I have figured the amount of cash needed to round out each persons gift money. I think I will hit the bank on Friday, so that will be one errand out of the way.

I have some more paperwork to do tomorrow and then I need to work on Christmas cards. I hope to mail them on Friday, so they will for sure get there.

This stinking cold...............I have found out that I prefer blowing my nose opposed to it being dry and I feel like I can't breathe.

The presents are wrapped and under the tree...
except for what dh brings in tonight. He should have everything wrapped except his Man gift for Dirty Christmas.
AND except for dbro & his dgf's gifts, which I need to get smaller boxes for. Tie/scarf size boxes, not shirt size boxes. And not jewelry size boxes. Everything I have is too small.
AND except for one of ddil's presents, a t-shirt I want to show to ds when he comes in tonight...
AND except for the three presents that have not arrived yet.

As usual, I look at what I have purchased for dbil and his family, and I know I am going to feel like some kind of miser, b/c he will probably spend more than we do, and dniece will help him and she is a better shopper than I am. * sigh * And part of this is my fault, b/c last year, he ASKED approx. how much we spend on each other, b/c it was his first year doing this without dxsisil's help, and I didn't want to sound cheap so I didn't tell him exactly what I spend -- I said, "Well, don't overdo; dxsisil always overdoes. Don't spend $100. Definitely keep it under that level." I don't know if HE mentioned the $100 figure first or I did, but I'm afraid he thinks that was my goal/price limit, which I'm sure it sounded like I was saying. But really, I spend between $80-$90 on each of them. Which still sounds like a lot, really, but when you look at what you've bought, it doesn't look like much. * sheesh *

Y'all do please check my other post in J&C... I'm still kinda spinning here... and probably said too much over there... why does my family have to have so much DRAMA???

Am having a B-L-A-S-T crocheting little scrunchies for ponytails AND 2 for pigtails OR braid tails, for DGD-23 months. ♥ It's not expensive, to do clothes for girl- when the MOMMY sews AND GMA crochets! I think Dsil also buys at consignment shops, thrift stores, too, plus she works for a store, which has everything- even a kids clothes dept., so she gets an employee's discount AND shops the sales. It works out Gr8!

Just popping in for a quick minute. Need to do my QVAR before bedtime, floss, and want to watch Jimmy Kimmel. I'd like to get a few more scrunchies done before bedtime, too.

Spent some time, filling out forms, to take to the G. I. Dr., and decided, after getting frustrated, to put them into a file, to resume sometime tomorrow. They want my primary care Dr.'s address, which I don't have, so need to look it up in the phone book. They wanted doses of ALL meds & supplements, too, I have "some", but not all, on my list. Had to use white-out once, but it looks better than my chicken-scratch in ink, trying to correct a phone number, of the insurance co. and their number, on my I. D. ins. card is too TINY.

LucyLee, once, DD was referring to some family members, of DH's, who live out-of-state. DD said, "They seem to thrive on going from one crisis to another." So I guess "drama" runs in some families.
