Only the last 4 of my 5 are done, but at least on the first one now dcousin has been contacted. She was indeed hospitalized but now home. Have gotten two of her children's phone numbers so losing contact like that won't happen again.

Dd was quite impressed, both with the thrill ride and with the roller coaster information. The gentleman who taught about the design of coasters was from Sweden and she enjoyed him. She has a photograph of herself - looking down - at the top of the roller coaster. She points out that you can see how white her knuckles are in the photo. Her teacher is beside her. The drop was at 95 mph. The bus ride took a long time. She called us a couple times to give us road names but we couldn't peg where she was - didn't matter. In general their day was a success and all the children safe, so I'm happy for the teachers to have had no problems.

Sorry Rambling Rose. :( Happy belated birthday.

Well, I didn't get lots of my stuff done. No vacuuming or mopping inside, plants didn't get watered. I did get outside to the back porch and finished out there, swept, wiped table and 6 chairs and the sliding glass door frame and kiddie picnic table and pass through shelf, picture window frame. One throw rug out there shook out and another mat hosed off.

After a half-hour nap, we did the truck shuffle. Then I went outside to tell DH I'd put the pizza in and he had his truck all apart. So after stopping to eat, we took the seat out and spent till 10:30 taking his door panel apart and trying to get the chains, pulleys, cranks, metal pieces, all coordinated and back together so he could raise/lower his window. After all that it didn't really work well and he has decided to buy a new assembly, so this work isn't done yet.

I am stiff and sore. While he was researching this truck mess and out buying clamps, I washed his whole truck. It's a big thing, about 27' long and was covered in some sort of yellow gunk (pollen?) and wouldn't wipe clean. I used a magic eraser on it all over and hosed and it is shiny and white again. I couldn't reach the very top parts so just hosed them. It looks better than it has in a long while.

Going to go find a painkiller of some sort and go to bed.

Dee, I'm glad the operation is done and your DH is out of there. Hope recovery is swift.

Waving ~~~~~ back, Harriet! :)

Happy (belated) Birthday, Ramblin Rose! Hope you had a terrific day.

((Dee)), so glad all went well with Mr Dee's surgery.

RunKitty, what an adorable puppy your avatar is!

Can't believe I haven't been here since the end of March. All is well here in Doveland, just busier than usual. As the days turned into weeks I kept postponing a visit here, waiting to have a big block of time to catch up. Ha! That seemed to happened only very late at night when I was (yawn!) sleepy so I kept procrastinating. I'm caffeinated tonight (heehee), & it feels good to have cuop in J&C, Members, & all of todays pwyc.

Off to get ready for bed then snuggle on the couch with dh before lights out.

Sweet dreams, everyone.
