How sweet, Lilac. You're in my prayers tonight and I'll be in that virtual waiting room tomorrow. May this be a short bump in the road for both of you. Count me in the crowd of SHEs who are glad you caught the almost medical mistake.

Dsonil drove to Tampa today to pick up his 2-week vacation check and one for last week of work. Of course when he picked them up the vacation check was only for a week. He asked about it and was told that he was only entitled to one week after a year (he's worked well over that year btw). But he talked to the office manager tonight and she told him that's not right -that everyone is hired with 2-weeks vacation promised after a year. So she told him to fill out a form and submit it to some agency and they would be coming to the plant to investigate. Part of him doesn't want to do it. DD will be searching for papers that spell out this 2-week pay.
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!

Thinking of Lilac and Mr. Lilac and praying for good results tomorrow. * SO glad you caught your meds in time! * Remember, you have to put on your oxygen mask first! :) IKWYM about losing touch with the board, too. Sometimes the smart phone connections get crazy. (Sometimes, if mine is trying to connect to a wi-fi and not getting a good connection, I do better to just turn off wi-fi and go with my 3G connection.)

Sending more Happy Birthday wishes to Sadie... and (((HUGS))) for the sad associations accompanying this time of year. I understand -- Mother's Day is always going to be tied to my ddad's death now, and Easter w/both my grandmother's. And Labor Day with my maternal grandfather's. Strange how things get inter-connected like that.

Today started out extremely sluggish for me, but around 2:00 pm I got in gear and started vacuuming, finishing the WHB from last week.
Immediately after I got started, dmom called to tell me my uncle (ddad's brother) was in the hospital, and dmom was really upset b/c she was afraid he was having a stroke or aneurysm or something like that. He has neurological issues anyway and has had a benign brain tumor once before.
We talked for awhile and then I s2s, dh decided that yes, he did want dgs to spend the night (they had asked earlier and I sorta turned them down.)
We went to pick him up, ate supper at Mc Donald's, and since then I've just been playing with him and messaging with dbro re: duncle, and talked to daunt a little while ago.
Duncle was not having BRAIN issues, he was having HEART issues. His heart rate had dropped to almost nothing and that was apparently what was causing the excruciating headache that sent him to the hospital earlier this morning, on the advice of a neighbor-nurse. So, they have him settled down now, out of pain, and he is getting a pacemaker tomorrow.
Just now -- yes, at 10:30 pm, I finished the vacuuming and put a load of clothes in the washer. Better late than never, huh? I think my crossroads of the day comes around about midnight. * sheesh *
I have NOT exercised today. Allergies are bothering me and I didn't want to go outside. Just too lazy to do indoors, I guess.

Hope your dsil get that check straightened out, Dee. He deserves it!

Congrats to Harriet's dd! The t-shirt sounds neat!

OH MY!!! (((Elizabeth's coworker!))) Glad you missed out on that little bit of excitement.
Tomorrow is another day.
