It's about 400 miles and usually takes around 7 hours. Dh is so excited to be going home tomorrow. He likes his K-cup coffee, our bed, his recliner and his man cave.

Dd is napping. She has been so much help and so supportive. I am glad that she is gaining 2 days this weekend for her graduation prep.

I was thinking that was the case for your dd, Lilac. How nice -now for a nice, non-eventful recovery for your dh at HOME.

I'm proceeding slowly here. Actually, it feels like I'm stalled. I can't get past the first month that I have to reconcile. There has been mistake after mistake and all this took place 13 months ago so my mind is hazy. Plus the switch to the new software.

I'm making a pot of tea with caffeine now to help me continue on.

We're glad you are with us too, Lilac. It is more efficient for us to know where to focus our positive energy than sit and wonder what to do.

Dh pointed out the storms in OK, and I'm wondering about Lady M again.

In the meantime, he came home and helped me over my rough spot (confirming the dollar difference was exchange rate) and so I was able to get both bank accounts reconciled up to Dec. 31. Only 3 more months to go (but data to enter so will do that in the morning.)

I'm going to be down to the wire on this.

Dh is really sore after working out at the farm/nursery today. Then he took my senior friend out to dinner at the Chinese restaurant and ran an errand with her.

My childhood best friend called and says that walking is out for her (sore feet and she's a nurse so can't waste her steps on exercise) and biking is out for me, so what about swimming? She'll figure out what works with her schedule. She has a lot of evening shifts coming up so she'll pick the days and the pool and I'll go with her.

In the meantime, she's ordered me to take ibuprofen in larger doses and all through the day, not just 200 mg at night (which is what I usually do.)

Off to bed now. If I rush, I'll make it by 11 but will have skipped my floor exercises for the first time in a few days. Plus no icing or elevating today. And only 4K steps. Overall, not a good day for making goals or self care. But to be expected, this is what my life is like during year end.

Isn't this Twins' Daughter's special day? With supper with family afterward I think. Happy graduation to both sister and brother - lots of hard work accomplished.

Lynlee, that's a hard decision to make about the driving time.

Kathryn, I hope you can get through this first month's worth and maybe find the rest are not so tough.

Lilac, happy for your dd also that this is a relief.

Bedtime schedules - I'm just awful about this and still don't have a good understanding why. Last evening I was just wiped out and went to bed early. (I had kept forcing myself awake in that parking lot in big city waiting, so never had a nap yesterday, although bored while reading and waiting.) I do remember tossing and turning last night, so it wasn't a perfect night's sleep but I thought it was enough. But after most of the morning necessities I zonked again from 10 to 12. :( I know it was something that truly crept up on me physically, because I had not yet had a bite to eat. So now here I am past bedtime and not sleepy. Every week, by the time I get to the weekend, something crazy has happened to my sleep schedule.

Ah well, turning my attention to "tomorrow is another day" -

Desk Day for us, plus possibly adding another greeting card to 3 I have ready, hmmm...
call to dcousin's dd to arrange get-together
morning Errands -

Congratulations to Twins' dd!!!

I did get a much needed nap in after supper -- dh and I tried a new Cajun restaurant nearby and ooohhh... It was sooo good! But I felt quite refreshed after a little snooze, although I'm ready for bed now, I must say.

And Dee, I met your challenge -- 15 min walk away the pounds before I s2s!
Tomorrow is another day.
