I got the weed patch raked seeded watered and a temp fence up to keep chickens off it. ToddlerN occupied herself picking apples for the chickens.

I'm glad Hariett's DD was rescued. I wonder how I would have done with my claustrophobia?

LOL you guys are funny re: cellulite, etc.

I broke down and gave DH his cake tonight. We talked about age and retirement and social security and work and retirement and work and retirement.... and I told him I would be his Girl Friday until he turned 70 but at the end of that year I. WAS. DONE. And I wanted to take a couple vacations. And we would need to sell a house and all the equipment / left over supplies / and we would be very busy at least that first year. I don't know if he believe me, and I don't know if I can stay firm, but I'm going to keep saying it.

He said maybe just not work as much.. and I reminded him about the years things were bad with the economy and how much we lost those years that he didn't work as much. So, I don't know how things will be. I just hope he'll get used to the idea as we go along. This year has been our hardest so far and that hasn't squelched his desire to work until he drops. We did talk about little tiny RV's etc. He might be amenable to that.

Sigh...I'd just like to sit a bit and work on my jig saw puzzle and not worry about what wasn't getting done.

Got as much of the paperwork done as possible. Lots of questions for the customer and phone call went unanswered. Tomorrow is another day, Scarlet!
