Re: Daily Food Diary
Would anyone mind if beginning in January's Daily Food Diary that I post one post of menu and comments per day?
I liked the idea of 2 days per post but I'm losing comments and menus. My mind needs simple things right now.
If this won't work you you all that is fine. I'll concentrate really concentrate on posting two days.

Oh, that's great - whatever works!
We hadn't "test-driven" yet when we began. Time to tweak it!
Thank you for saying I wasn't meddling too much.
I am learning about myself that I sort of like being in a rut with same meals during early part of day.
Need to think about that, though, and guard against any nutrition gaps.
I have also been analyzing the "why" behind the SlimFasts lately. Having them sporadically doesn't impact my weight, really. I think it partly has to do with the ease of having a thick drink to take my supplements, some of which have a taste or "feeling" that will bug me if they aren't taken with substantial food. Also, with the long list of vitamins down the side of the can I get the impression I'm taking care of myself - during holidays I was grasping for push-button nutrition while racing through days. Yet, I also wonder - do I fear I would be reaching back into the Pepsi can box if not for the SF cans to hold in my hand as a substitute? Hmmm ... ...

Re: Daily Food Diary
Weekly sounds good to me, Indiana. I agree -- this can get confusing. It would probably be good to look at an entire week at a time... see what days are especially troublesome, etc.
It IS hard to post daily, anyway. I'm going to try to do this on a notecard or just scrap paper during the day, and then post here later. I think it will help keep me honest (with myself, I mean!) if I keep the paper in front of me and do it WHEN I eat, not after the fact when it's just a guilt-filled memory...
* sigh *
I am really afraid to post any sort of measurable goals... but, it IS my goal to eat more intelligently and exercise regularly.

Tomorrow is another day.
