5:46 forcing myself back to work... down stairs bathroom...didn't do it monday
realized yesterday that I went on strike... needing to get out. I need to plan for the unplanned. friday I couldn't go downtown and worked again and again. so now I will make another plan for day off as I need that day off especially now when stress is high.
things I need to work on: learning to go outside physically playing. dh has his own way of relaxing and I am okay with it as long as I go out myself.
I also know I used to have lots of adult activities and made friends and went out when dd's were young and now need to do that for myself now that the kids are moving forward with their lives.
1:03 exhausted and could sleep but wont. time to change and go outside.
Getting things off tables and packed up after the yard sale
was great exercise, the donations pick up truck was
all booked up for the week and h. has the riding mower that's broken
and waiting on a part in the utility trailer so hauling stuff off is on m
hold for a while. I've untagged stuff and stored stuff in the camper
for now.
Dd10 has taken the weeklies cards for specific rooms away from me and put them in a magnetized cubby on the fridge for herself. (These were the ones preprinted from P and P back at the "Organized from the Inside Out" time.) They have the amount of time each room should take and there are 4: bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, living/dining. The most time is an hour (kitchen) and the least is 25 (bathroom) minutes. I have had to work a bit behind her at times (like spots on the kitchen floor that were tough), but otherwise chores at our house are getting out of the way lots faster this summer. I don't try to make her copy her work at her grandparents' too - trying to keep her encouraged.
