So good to hear good news from Mr. Dee! We think now that low potassium (and possibly low sodium as well) may have been the cause of the terrible cramps, almost seizures, that dmom had back in November in the ER. They say now that the problem (with her) is caused by some sort of hormone that is lacking, (or maybe too much of?) in her blood. I'll be glad to hear from family doctor and get some printed reports on all this. I'm not sure dmom is getting all the info straight.
Y'all -- I have had an amazing day! I hope I can keep this up!
* errands -- picked up dh's pants that had been hemmed, dropped off payment for dmom at mini storage
* washed three loads of clothes (everything hanging to dry now except one load still to be folded on top of washer, one load to do tomorrow)
* vacuumed all the non-carpet floors (except 3rd bath, never used)
* zone vacuuming in master bath
-- high, low, countertops, EVERYTHING except light fixtures -- I have serious plans to declutter in there. It is ridiculous.
* ironed dh's clothes that were waiting on ironing board (this took less than an hour, not a huge pile)
* dh and I went to town and he washed air filters and rinsed off car
* I cleaned the inside of the car windshield with Windex (dgrands "can't" keep their hands off glass)
* ate supper in Next Town
* took a very short nap
* talked to dmom
Plus I started the day with more intentional Bible study & devotion, AND took measurements for a reference point. I did not get my exercise in today, but I did get over 6000 steps, so that's improvement over my average.
I still have Christmas stuff up. Dh wants it up till Epiphany, and we will be gone then, so it's not coming down till Sunday at least, and more likely, Monday. I just couldn't stand it without vacuuming bathroom and getting some things (routine-wise) started -- I'd be embarrassed to even tell you girls how long it's been since I vacuumed! (You could probably search it and see for yourself -- it's been such an unusual event, I'm sure I posted when I did it! I promise, it's been waaay too long!)
Tomorrow we are supposed to have stormy weather, and also we are supposed to go to dbil's for pizza and Christmas gift exchange.
It's also the dgrands' last day of Christmas vacation.
