get back to dailies before doing anything else.

my goal: do what I can, while I can do it! I never know what will pop up and so the day is always a surprise.

dailies:
breakfast done
clean up after breakfast
empty dw
counters
sweep and rinse kitchen floor (I DON'T WANNA) STRONG FEELINGS, STAMPING MY FOOT (INNER BRAT IS HIGHLY MOTIVATED TO BE STUBBORN)

looking for joys in my day
looking to stop procrastination

surface clean the top of washer and dryer

add to Monday: laundry room sink, washer and dryer, sweep and clean between the washer and dryer, finger prints

I realized two years ago, yesterday, that dd younger and my d mom were in the hurricane that caused so much damage in Naples etc. I was afraid for dd and mom. No electricity for 2 weeks and so much happening.

I am grateful that we made mom come home bc dd younger said she would never go through that again.
I am praying for all of those who are devastated by the current hurricane.

time to take some tylonel.
pulled my sidetracked home executives book again to read. I always do that in the fall after the summer gardening.

Next set up fire in back yard.

I have my Monday weekly chores to do
I have my dailies to do for the house, me, dogs and the garden.

take care of mom AM done.
My meds am done.
dd took all the dogs out.

dh flipped his laundry
did a towel seek after the family hid them. It will be two loads - I think I will go back to Monday/Thursday towel dance.
Monday is usually whites but they are clean but not put away.
did his dish!!!
he offered to do the rest (but I just want it completely done - I thanked him and told him that it would make me feel good to finish what I started.

alrighty late start! I need to have new priorities and schedule.

1. mom is taken care of
2. do dishes in dw, clean counter clean stove top, sweep and rinse floor, clean sink.
3. fold towels
4. put away towels - they are folded but not put away
5. straighten the family room
had lunch - dd younger bought for mom, herself and moi.
cleaned up lunch dishes
emptied dw
mom is folding some laundry and singing and whistling
took mom on her errands and one of mine
going to go through my mail and then write checks

working hard on being proud of myself for even the littlest progress!

well I woke up late again 9:00 am
Mom is taken care of 10 to 11 am

time for routines:
zone for today: bathrooms

oh no I got stuck spacing out
dw on
washed anything left over and they are drying on a towel
laundry flip and flop
some laundry put away
folded more towels and they still need to be put away
flipped laundry again


next: wash sink, clean counter, microwave swish and swipe , stove top , rinse fingerprints on fridge.
Next: fold kitchen towels and put away.
washing dog blankets - one in washer, one in dryer.

dh and I have been married 43 years today! wow how did that happen. I started dating him when I was 17 - 47 years ago! wild.

took care of mom - it takes an hour
she wore her shirt to bed.

Yay I put October 4 th behind me!

Mom: dd older x am. Me pm, dd younger during the day item. me: keep boundaries

PATROLS (KEEP GAURD)PROTECTING THE HOME FRONT FROM FALLING IN DISREPAIR (EVEN MORE THAN IT IS )

DUDS: flipped laundry x, found laundry x, washing x, drying x, put away:

DISHES: dh did some, I did

DINNER: mom and I have a reservation to coopers hawk - tomorrow make multiple soups and choucroute garnie

PUT AWAY: I don't notice it but I and other family members are leaving things out.
