That's a pretty good description smile lee. Insurance I think works pretty similar here. Except it's kind of hard to transfer provinces especially with an older car. I think even newer ones have to be inspected but easily pass. Older cars often require a pretty high standard to pass and need repairs. Dd had to do it with her car and there were some things she had to get fixed.

Helian maybe your dds will help with Easter too? Everyone knows their grandma has just arrived closer. That is a lot in one weekend. If dh cooks it might be doable. But too much for me especially with extras.

I finished actually painting. Just have to decide. I like the color better now. More like the denim I wanted. Looks like sky blue and blue colored mountains in the distance. Lol.

Now I did something I maybe shouldn't have. I ended up on emergency errand again. For some reason mom wasn't feeling good again and I had to go clean up after her. Dad had company this morning. Plus ds26 was out there tinkering in the shop. Dad did too much and couldn't clean uo. He'd fallen sound asleep on the couch while I was cleaning. I invited them since he can drive now for supper tomorrow. Thought he might be up to getting out of the house once.

Except that was a bit ambitious... oops. My paint is done and drying. I can reorganize and move ds tomorrow. Need to clean up the paint. My shampooer from the carpet mess there. Figure out what to make something simple they would like. And at least somewhat presentable house. Acckkk. They might change their mind it depends how they feel tomorrow..

Now I need to do some tidy... hmmm I didn't even get to the tidy up I was going to do here. Try that again

I could have renewed my driver's license online/ mail this time; the state mailed me a form, but I wanted to get an enhanced license as a real ID. I had to do that in person.

I'm curious what your science experiment will be this week, L Ann.
When we lived in NY and TX, both those states required annual car inspections, Smile. Don't know about now.

Dh has suggested that we not go to church tomorrow. I think that's a fabulous idea. That will buy me 3 hours. I have NOT finished another exam, and I also need to finish Mom's paperwork tomorrow.

helian, this is a big week for you. And with your mother here, you might want to spend some of the holiday with her, too. You will be visiting frequently to help her adapt to the new situation, and to make sure that the new staff have the information they need to care for her as well as you expect from your diligence in making the decisions you did.

I just got back from 3 1/2 hours with my mother. We signed and addressed 14 Easter cards. She is much clearer and more energetic now that her infection is cleared up and the antibiotics are done. Hooray for that!
Now I'm going to work for an hour or so on the paper I'm editing, then plan on bed.
I'm not sure if I'm going to take my crutches to church tomorrow, or stay home.
