WTG, Peaches

Hi, L.Ann. You got lots done today. However you have time to post is fine.

I have 2 loads of laundry washed and hanging, I won't get the errands done today. But there's always decluttering, cleaning and organizing to do.

Just having a supper of lentil curry with rice, green beans and broccoli.

Germane heartily approves of your decision to skip jogging in the rain, helia. :D

Tuesday
Worked on goals
Germane carefully inspected her pee pads and then positioned herself to pee on all four and on the floor beside.
Cleaned up after dog
Washed part of the floor
Checked flyers
Did shopping list
Change out towels
Put away dry dishes
Dug out cornbread recipe
Filled/run breadmaker
Spiffed self
Walked dog
Gathered dirty laundry
Took bread out of breadmaker liner and set it up to cool on the counter wrapped in a towel
Started two loads of laundry
Flipped the laundry
Napped
Brought the laundry back
Hung all of the laundry

A short hi.
My life is too full!
Little dog is still with us, requiring much care and time. Eye is getting better. Continues to lose weight. pancreas enzymes are increasing (indicating more severe disease progression) and appetite has been really awful. Vet gave ehr a shot today, and she has eaten almost hlaf a chicken thigh. More than the total of the past 48 hours. She is of course losing weight. After she ate, she was more able to walk in the grass and go potty.
Dsis3 and dh arrived last night. Dsis2 arrived today. Today is dgrandson's birthday (19). I joind his family for supper out. Dsis's ate supper with mother.
I'm starting to pack for time at cabin. There's much to pack! Some extra sheets, pillows, cake pan, a special recipe, muffing tin come to mind. Plus extra thigns for mother's care. We leave Thursday morning.
Tomorrow I have to meet with PT at NH to work on car-wheelchair transfers with mother.
And go to VET to get another shot for little dog. And take care of her eye 5x, and load the car mostly.
NH turned off the heat (run by a boiler that takes 3 days to fire up to turn back on) and our local temps have dropped to mid 40s and mother has been freezing. I have made several emails to head administrator; she is reporting abck that they are aware of problem and are trying to find a way to overcome it. I responded that I am pleased that she is keeping me informed of her work to find solution.
Back to think about what I need to pack - Haven't had mother at cabin for 3-4 years. And I have been there alone overnight 1-2 nights in past 2 years, so remembering what I have there in the kitchen is a challenge! We will buy groceries when we get there. But I do have some to take with.
I'll have to catch up after her birthday - 101 on Friday!

That is very hopeful news about the little dog, Gma. Happy birthday to your dmom. Enjoy your time at the cabin.

Hi, Lauralind.

I got a big one accomplished. I managed to finish applying for my pension. Now it's just a question of waiting to see how much money I get, to know what plans I can make.

I think that I am at the end of my useful energy. I plant to make a mug cake in the microwave.
