I've had my supper break and now I'm back at it. I have printed out the labels and again on paper to put inside the boxes. I can't get over my laser printer. It must be at least 10 years old, it's still on its first cartridge of toner, and it prints first time with no fuss no matter how many months it has been out of use. It didn't cost any more than an ink jet, either.

Dogged;y, so ahppy that Germane could have an interesting walk, and not get over tired because you carry her part way. Wow, that's amazing about yoru printer!
kittykatt = Wow that's a lot of smiley faces for the day! :D
helian, are you on your way home now? It's easy to forget that ds is in town, because they live theri lives, separate from myin, but are good about showing up when I call for help. Dgs has mowed my lawn all summer, will do it 2-3x before heading back to University. What I contribute to his tuition more than pays for mowing ;)
L.ann, I hope everyone gets back so your can go to mass together
Laurlind, I hope your low key day had no glitches.
Peaches, hello and WTG on your list

I didn't like the blue on the window, so I did the second coat in white. Now it's dry enough to put back, and is in its place. Hopefully I can spend some time decluttering the sewing room area so it becomes a bit neater, tidier. That is indeed a several day project, but as Fly lady said, 15 minutes at a time does get things done! eventually.
My afternoon included a short visit from my next door neighbor, getting dfBS computer, a long visit with mother - ate supper with her, signed birthday card for her great grandson/ my grand nephew. It's addressed and ready to get a stamp and into the mailbos. It will probably arrive late, but it will be mailed before his birthday.... Looked at the birthday pictures I had printed. Long conversation between dbro and Mom, mostly, a little from me. She kept asking the same questions, and repeating the same information to him.
visited dfBS at the hospital
now I am home, and don't really feel like loading the dw. Don't know if I will overcome the donwannas or if I will just crochet a row and go to bed.

That sounds like a nice outing doggedly.

Laser ink doesn't dry out like ink jet so dh says. Better for occasional use. I'm glad it still works.

Gma I should overcome the donwannas . I feel like I didn't get very far. Easy priorities done. And then I crashed. Ds did a really yummy pulled pork for supper after I came home with just the right roast for it. He made supper. I sat and let pain killer work with an interruption. Forgot the pellets were low in the grill. I had to go back to town.

Just when I had put supper on the table mom and dad dropped in unannounced... occasionally dad will do that. I really kinda would like to expect it with a phone call. But because I didn't get much done I had more mess than I started with. And the dowannas...

I didn't get to whb. I left my kitchen more messy. Didn't really confirm anything for house sitting. Garden is mostly weeded. Groceries. A groomed cat . Played some classical stuff. It's definitely getting easier. But I feel frustrated again cause all my plans for whb and a clean living room and it looks worse than before with unannounced company..

That is wonderful support Gma; you help dgs with his tuition, and he shows his gratitude by keeping your lawn mown. One thing that you don't have to think about in your busy life.

On the bright side, Lauralind, maybe your ddad can see that you can't keep up with all of the demands on your time and be more understanding and patient when he wants your help. We can hope.

Boxes are all taped up and labeled. The big one is strapped to the hand truck. I realized that it would be safer to bring them down in two trips, so the second box is still cluttering up my main living area. They will be gone tomorrow. In the meantime, I can see my little dining table for the first time in over two years. It has a flip top, so it can take up half as much space once I get that far in the reorganizing.

I'm going to start getting ready for bed. Have a good night, all.

Saturday
Take apart work equipment
Packed the monitor
Packed computer and accessories
Charged tire inflator. Searched for cord and plug for it first.
Read the manual to remind myself how it works.
Took Germane for a beautiful walk to the park
Found on LinkedIn that one of my former colleagues whom I always liked and respected is really struggling.
Offered her a reference, in case that can help.
Printed out the labels on label paper and a second set on regular paper to insert
Taped up both boxes and labeled them.
