trissie, no feeding tube for her. She has a clause in her will re: no lifesaving measures, etc. and I don't think it would serve her well. Her quality of life is very low so I think it's OK for her to go. The baby shower is for dgbaby in Seattle.
Thanks Bama. That's a good question. I keep her stocked with chocolate pudding. R said one danger now was if food went down the wrong pipe.

I'm taking a break before I finish cooking. Dbro kind of talks a lot, mostly about himself. Dh has gone out to get a coffee, and I am tired and don't want to take on conversing with dbro by myself right now. I need to rejuvenate my introversion.

Oh - I found it! Too cute, Laura!! And funny re: you dd almost 2. My dd29 did that once too, just cut off a chunk of her hair. She also took scissors in preschool (age 3) and cut another kid's shirt. He then tried to cut her shirt, but the fabric was such that it wouldn't cut. LOL! I asked her why she did it and she said she just wanted to see if she could.

My favorite scissors story was when DD38 came home from school when she was 4 saying…. It’s not my fault I can’t use scissors at school anymore. If L had stayed at the sand table where she belonged she wouldn’t have almost got her hair cut off.

Helian I am sad that you have to miss the baby shower. And you mom looks like not long left. But glad your brother got a good visit with her and you. Hard times.

I just watched my mom not be able to chew and swallow meat. Dad made us lunch of kind of leftovers ut he made ribs. In the oven cause he didn't have time for the crock pot. For us they were good she can still swallow and eat just sometimes trouble with harder stuff. Helping her get up now requires helping her sit forward enough to move forward. We saw the motorhome. Dh helped him fix a couple things. Then we had lunch with decided tomorrow we would bring birthday cake for him. Sometime in the evening. His birthday is next Tuesday.

Came home and did Casper walk. Now I'm sitting here deciding what to do for supper again.
