This blanket is not what I would call complicated but I guess that is perspective too. It's just bigger but straight across rows and not even color changes. It's a variegated Grey called anthracite. Almost has a plum colored hue in the dark. But the variegated colors are long stretches that are gonna turn it to stripes. In a simple chevron vee pattern.

Anyways I wanted to say... my dd and dsil from Alberta went on a trip. They just landed in Toronto. Bus and vehicle they will land not far from lake Erie somewhere between doggedly and helian. A wedding over there of his cousin. I am excited for her she has never been further east than Edmonton. Till they drove to Mexico when they were engaged.

I am moving super slow. Now I just have to remember sometime to put a bug in ddil ear. I have a couple of frames that are needing some wedding pictures from them to match dd and dsil pictures. Then maybe one day sooner than later some new couches and my living room will be so much better.

Speaking of brownies. Ds is reading recipes for them now. Requires a trip to town if I get some .

I have another problem tho. Ds did make dinner. A couple times in the last week. Leftovers in the fridge of 2 super strong flavors. I don't know what to do with all that. Need lunch bit his soup from yesterday was hot and spicy mostly from black pepper. I cannot get him to understand mom does not like spicy like that. I eat it... but... what for lunch


Ingenious name combo helian. So special the time is and it sounds like everything is going to be just fine. Those boys off ours mine makes the sweetest daddy and husband as well. Ddil is enjoying having a kitchen able to bake with a little tyke exploring every inch of the new house .

That is an exciting trip, Lauralind. I can imagine. I have never been further west than Brandon. I'm not much of a traveller, so unless my db moves out west I am probably not going to make it.
Speaking from experience, I vote for brownies.

Looks like lots of postings. I'm traveling with my dsis2. Together with dsis3 and her hubby, I am 500 miles away from my home, to attend confirmation of of my niece's son. They spoke their faith statements today at church. Tomorrow is confirmation. I'm finding myself exhausted, very ready for bed, would have liked a nap today, but at least I am in bed early!

I hope DD and DSil have a wonderful trip, Lauralind! Aw, yeah, it's very gratifying to see our sons grow into sweet loving husbands and fathers. I think ds will be quite devoted as a father.

Next:
- text ds to ask when we should show up
- perhaps lay down for a bit; maybe do duolingo?
- I have payroll to do

More done:
- payroll: communicated with the sub
- added a charity to our giving roster
- found grocery store (not easy - involved a couple traffic jams
- got groceries, mainly yogurt and fruit
- home; put away groceries
- Sh appeared to talk
- ate some yogurt + fruit!!

Since then, I have:
- done duolingo
- gone to the hospital again; more visits with Ds, F, and little I
- progress knitting
- dh and I went and got dinner for everyone (2nd night doing this)
- had dinner in the hospital room
- home again
- fed the cats

I'm really tired. It's been an emotional day. Ds and F are planning to sleep as much as possible tonight while I is in the NICU - after some time with her. I think that's a great idea. I seems to be doing well there; her breathing rate seems to be slowing down to more normal levels.
