I have dished up a piece of potato and carrot with Germane's spoonful of dog food and she is chowing down delightedly. I want to go to the basement lockers but need to wait a bit to see if she goes to sleep. It's just so much easier to get myself and the handtruck up the stairs without her.

--That was a strategic error. That just got her excited about the possibilities of what could land in her dish, so she's checking her dish over and over and strategically depositing poop on the pee pad for more rewards.

Dogged, I would hold it before I sat on an ice cube of a seat.
Germane is emptying her tank so she can fill it back up.
Now I have a mental image of you planking.

Found a puddle in the kitchen in an awkward spot. It turned out to be just a little water splashed from the vegetables being washed.

Checked weather: wind chill is back around -15 C. Not taking the dog out.

Washed the soaking dishes and put more in to soak
Did some filing of papers.
Transferred excess toilet paper and tissues to stair-walking handtruck
Put pasta on to cook
Distracted dog with carrot and potato with her dog food
Brought the handtruck to the basement lockers
Brought a box of pee pads back up

Bagged up kitchen and bathroom garbage
Brought all garbage and recycling to basement
Tried to donate soup: the donations box is locked in the office
