I am starting a new habit…getting dressed as soon as I get out of bed. I don’t shower ever day because I have very dry skin, but do wash my body with special cloths made for that purpose

Yesterday:
* went to class
* drank 64 ounces of water, 24 ounces of coffee, and 12 ounces of tea
* ate protein in all of my meals
* 12K steps

Added another new habit… no using the phon, except to set my alarm if I forget… an hour before I go to sleep.

Yesterday:
- track 64 ounces of water, 2 cups of coffee, and one cup of tea
-Ate my protein, but don’t think I got enough. Need to watch that.
- 8K steps.. was tired the afternoon from headach and crashed. Slept 1.5 hours

I'm on plan with my steps, but we'll be away parts of Friday and Saturday so don't know that I'll hit goals then. Weight continues stable, up a little for December. Alcohol free is working well for now. I know I need to eat more protein and eat better but it's so hard when I'm not hungry either. My trainer suggests trying for two veggies and two fruits daily. I'm embarrassed to say I don't usually do that well. (red face.)

My scale is digital and sends into to my iPad app. It sends other body composition as well. I'd like to examine it closely and look at the 2025 trend, since I was using a GLP-1. Did I lose muscle in spite of two workouts weekly? Did my body fat percentage - which is high - come down? In BMI terms I'm at 26.7 - still overweight, but this scale is calling me obese (image that!) because my body fat and subcutaneous fat is high. OTOH, my muscle mass is high. The only other metric that is off - according to this - is skeletal muscle - which it says refers to the amount of muscle attached to bones. BMI

DD14 continues learning from her online Nourish nutritionist. This month they are focusing on starting her day with a high protein drinkable yogurt that has 6 live cultures that promote gut health. Keeping these bottles stocked in our refrigerator is a challenge because the other three people in the house drink them since they enjoy the taste. I prefer my own yogurt creation that I've been tweaking the ingredients for a couple years, but I'm thrilled the family is venturing into trying healthier foods. Will DD14 stop having a mid-morning processed food snack at school? Who knows. At least she’s had some protein before making that decision

How many grams of protein are you aiming for RR?

Steps are on track, ate mostly well yesterday (dinner - sweet potato, broccoli, steak.) Tonight's supper will be leftovers - need to remember to get in some fruits/veggies, I have leftover chicken and steak now.

Had a glass of bourbon last night. Stressed, frustrated. Gives me some insight into the whys. Also, might have felt resentful perhaps because dh hung out with friend for bourbon in afternoon and was falling asleep at six p.m. when I was dealing with delayed supper. I got him to get up out his chair and grill tho. Told him he'd feel better if he didn't sleep the evening away.
