It was a strange storm where we are, GMA. It started as snow and we got about 4 inches and then it sleeted for hours on top of the snow and finished up with just a bit of ice. Any ice on plants didn’t last at all but the sleet layer under the ice turned to a solid. It is 9 days after the storm and even adults are not sinking into the “snow” even if you stomp on it. You can ice skate on it still. The roads are pretty good so I am not complaining.

Thanks, kitkat. Germane is sleeping happily in the bathroom. I'm waiting to see what happens the next time that she gets up.
WTG on getting decluttering done and finding that leak. I hope that you feel better after eating.

Thanks, Bama. I don't think that it was a seizure at all, as she stopped struggling when I picked her up and held her. I think that she couldn't push off with her right leg so she couldn't get up, and just panicked over it. I'm hoping that she's over it, and will get up normally next time. I don't want to start anything else I have planned in case we have another panic.

Althought I have checked "subscribe" I have not received any notifications today. Fortunatley I save old notices and figured out how to get to a new day's posts.
L.ann, that kind fo storm is wicked! It would slow down a Minnesotan as well!
I'm just home from dfBS. She was having issues. It took quite a bit of sleuthing, but I think I found the cause nad fixed it. She is indeed fortunate to have a skilled nurse looking after her. I think I will try to talk to her aobut some wished she might have for her funeral - it's long before necessary, but people will aske me because they know how much I take care of her. I will have to bring a snow shovel when I go there tomorrow to take her to a dr appointment.
Now I'm tired, and I've had a small (1/2) glass of wine, so I should probably get ready for bed. And make a grocery list for tomorrow.

Thanks, Bama. I did enjoy cuddling her. And I'm relieved to say that she is walking around as well as she normally does. Crisis passed.

Your df is very fortunate to have you in her life. That will be a difficult conversation, but probably easier now than closer to the time. You are wise to tackle it now.

I have sampled the sauce, and I like it. The big test will be tomorrow, to see if I have digested it. In the meantime, I'm going to prep a small corningware dish to put the pasta and sauce together overnight, and tomorrow I can add cheese and bake it.
