Hi, all. I am taking a quick break. I don't know what happens to me in the discount grocery store, but I seem to have to walk it twice and then back track every time I go. I try telling myself "You know, it's only a few minutes' drive from home, you can come back and buy more another time" but it doesn't seem to have an effect.

I brought up the first load from the car to find that Germane had mashed her food into her back instead of eating it. She's walking well, so it doesn't look like she had another episode of thrashing around. I tried to get it out of her fur and finally just cut it out. I will have to make her next grooming appointment a little earlier than I intended. And she's going to need a full groom, not just a bath and clip.

I have to rearrange the freezer to fit in the groceries that I overbought and get the cold groceries put away. then I need to set up the hand truck to bring up the rest of the groceries , and then I'll sit down and CUOP properly.

Put away dry laundry
Checked emails
Opened grocery shopping app to get 100 points loaded.
Started on shopping list. The printed flyer does not show duck.
Looked up the flyer online. It still shows duck on sale. Compared it to the printed flyer. On the printed flyer, that spot is taken by a box of frozen ribs. I think that I will be very lucky to find the duck.

Checked tracking for KVM switch
Started a new recycling box
Went through big pile of papers and picked out the low hanging fruit for recycling. Left me with a more manageable pile to go through and shred
Put away empty pee pad box
Set up new pee pad box
Struggled to get the first few pads out. (They are packed in very tight.)
Finally put the box back on the floor and resorted to pliers to get them out
Cleaned up after dog

Went grocery shopping where I was abducted by aliens, my memory wiped, and found myself in my car with a receipt for $225.00. I have blown my grocery budget for the month, your grocery budget for the month, and the budget of three small countries. And I still don’t have chickpea flour or brown rice, but I have lots of other things to eat so I’ll be fine, LOL.

Sat in car and went over and over the receipt trying to remember what I had bought for $14.99. Eventually remembered the coffee.
Drove home.

Tried removing the food with paper towels, rinsing it out with a wet wash cloth and finally cut it out.

That was so interesting about the language trissie. Thank you for that.

(((Bama))) I'm glad that you have some good help with your dd's car, but I understand the disappointment of your own new-to-you car getting further out of reach.

helia, it would not surprise me at all if your birds were living off of your neighbours' feeders before you put yours up, LOL. When I had the house, I had all of the birds because it was a long property completely lined with trees. The birds would would nest in my trees and eat at my neighbours'.

I'm glad that you got to enjoy your coffee in your garden before the rain came back, Kittykatt.

Me too, kitkat. I will forgive the cold if it cuts down on the rat population.

I'm glad that you are almost done with your treatments, L.Ann. Treatments have certainly improved since the days when I was young.

I ended up eating a muffin and having a cup of coffee. Now to get on with organizing to bring up the rest of the groceries. I want to do the rest in one trip.

Used my new credit card which did work, but not with the pin number that I had chosen for it
