Well, let's see what I have managed to do....
POTD
clear the decorations off the piano so the tuner will have access!
AND PUT THINGS BACK AFTER THE TUNER LEFT!
(Tht includes my bethlehem olive wood manger scene)
exercise with a DVD
eat some yogurt and fruit for breakfast
looong conversation with health insurance company, new since Jan 1, getting info on wellness benefits.
re-clear bathroom counter clutter.... still time tonight
check in with dfBS .... that turned in to multiple phone calls, schedulers for post hospital visits, labs, respiratory tests. In fact many multiple is probably more correct!
go for a walk - it just got too late
tend to mother's house - tomorrow. I have blanket and bedspread to wash. she has a large machine, so I will wash and tend to her house at the same time.
go to neighboring city to buy ink for my printer (My town is small and doesn't have those big kind of stores)
get gas for car
3 thank you notes written, followup from my trip. Seems like months ago, so much has happened since I returned home
butter at gas station was 99 cents, limit 1. I bought butter, didn't take time for gas. (there's always tomorrow)
at supper at food co-op. They had the most moist, tender roast beef! I ate supper instead of shopping!
What else?
Oh, I have cookie dough that needs baking... I can add that to my list of what I can do tonight, with my happy full tummy after eating such good roast beef with both mashed russets and sweet potatoes.
golly, it looks like I did quite a lot today!

Thanks, Bama. I have spent my evening trying different configurations and reorganizing my desk and computers. I have a temporary set up, but have to order an adapter before my laptop can share the monitor. For now, I have a shared keyboard and mouse.
Gma, there is no comparison between the quality of food available at your gas station and ours. That roast beef sounds wonderful.
I think that I still have some useful energy left in me. I should stop playing with computers and do some tidying.

Dogged, that was not gas station food, but our local food coop. The food there is generally really good. I have been hungry for boast beef, but didn't want to do a while one just for myself. So to have some ready made, well cooked, tender and moist, with a little gravy, some mashed potatoes, and mashed sweet potatoes, plus a generous amount of spinach and arugula salad for $6 was a terrific deal! There are akways 3 homemade soups to choose from if I had wanted any of them.
The gas station has some groceries; butter is usually $3, but was on sale today only for $.99.
I got a sheet of cookies baked, and one bowl of dough emptied.
And some of the stuff on the bathroom counter put away.
Now it's midnight and bedtime! I plan to sleep tonight!

That makes more sense, Gma. I didn't read your message properly. That does sound like a great deal. Have a good night.
