Progress:
[x] s2s
[x] reconcile checkbook
[x] worked on gradebook -- got it set up for next semester -- but did not
-- [ ] post grades
-- [ ] work on lesson plans
[x] call dfriend
[ ] put away Christmas
[x] download pictures from Christmas
[x] email pictures to daunt
[x] uploaded pictures to w*lmart.com and ordered prints
[x] go to w*lmart -- groceries, etc.
[x] decluttered huge stack of receipts from debit card purchases -- I always intend to keep these until I reconcile checkbook/statement... but often times forget to throw them out when I do

Not too bad, considering that I was still napping in my housecoat at 4:00 pm!!!
Tomorrow, I should have plenty of time at school to do the grades & lesson plans, anyway.

(((Harriet))) I am so sorry you've had such a rough day w/your caregiving duties. I definitely know, at least second-hand, how that can color the whole outlook for the day.
And Accelerated Reader. Sounds like you're almost as excited about school starting back as I am. At this point, I am feeling like a real idiot for not retiring in December. DS & dh reminded me that I always feel this way when it's time to go back.

Oh well. We're halfway through the year. And this time NEXT YEAR, I will be saying OH NO... I don't know if I am ready to retire or not!!! (Right? That'll be me. I'm sorry I'm so insane.) * Thanks for the encouragement, Lynlee!

Hope your knee feels MUCH better by morning, MT!

((((Harriet)))) and all those around you.
((((Lucylee)))) you will cope with school again - you know you will. But I remember being slightly phobic to work/school too.
Nancy - A Peter Walsh link got me started. Even if I started with one part of a room at a time.

I was trying for a normal tuesday - went to yoga and classes aren't on til next week. So I've pretty well wasted today.
Yesterday I set up weekend birthday visits with dd's - they are taking a day each. One wanted me just with her family and 20mother .. so suggested saturday for one and will do beach w dd1's .. dgd9's cast is off this week so hope they slather arm with sunscreen. She will be itching for a swim. dgs12 has been having surfing lessons so wonder if they have a board that travels with them. I think that was part of his christmas present. - the lessons.
ddog has been sick in the mornings so I've been having carpet cleanup time. If I'm wise I'd give it a good going over. I need take the shampooers tank doobie back to the store as its fastened itself tightly closed and I can't open it.
I canc dgd9's visit b/c of worker due that day - monday- to start redoing some wood exterior. I'm just going with hardyplank. Too much happening at once. We will try for Easter holidays. I have a list of things I'm meant to do. I need see if I can get neighbour to do grass and gutter clean out for me. I was not a ladder person ... it seemed.
And lots of places are closed this week for holidays. I guess all the staff go at once. Need to see if vinnies will take any of the carport stuff..
Just begin.
Living this day, today
Take a reality check; Remember to breathe; Do what I am able to do.
Look for the good in all.

Time to shut down the computers for the night. I haven't been in the den all day so should have shut it down long ago.

DH insisted I give my knee one more day of rest and I think it helped. I can walk pretty well now.

Didn't get Christmas put away but will do that later. Tomorrow we go to lunch back at out lot - so it might be Wed. before I put it away. Anyway, DH asked me for a list of what needs to be done before we got to Q on Jan. 15. So will do that while we drive to the lot tomorrow.

Niters now. Hugs to all.
