Anthems practiced before the plumber arrived.
His fancy-dancy augur may have worked. We can't tell because the pipes under the sink are leaking too badly to do a full test. So he's trying to jury-rig something that won't leak together. This is another recurring theme with this problem - every time it gets backed up, the p-joint has to be messed with and when we do that it starts to leak.

Re: THREE BY THREE THURSDAY
washing is on the line
lol termiology
tea towels are for drying dishes etc
hand towel for hands
dish cloths to wash up with. I want to get back to a fresh one daily.
I tend use other cloths or paper towel to clean benches/ floor.
Remembering being little and getting into trouble using wrong towel "because it had stripes like a towel".
In the land of my dm - anything that is toweling is a handtowel - so pretty toweling teatowels I have given here are specially placed in the bathroom for guests.

Re: THREE BY THREE THURSDAY
I have a sink that swirls when draining. Plus he explained I've been doing vinegar/soda wrong (you are to run hot water slowly while doing it and the chemicals sit on top of that water and are carried to the clog.)
Cost me the 2 hour minimum but he had a part in the truck that fixed the leak as well, so that should be fixed permanently.
I'm off to bed now.

Re: THREE BY THREE THURSDAY
Dish towels...I have one in the kitchen that I change every day. Guess I should say mornings. I use paper towels with blood or juices from meat. We tend to dry our hands on the same towel since we don't really use it for much.
Now when it comes to sponges and dish rags, well that's a horse of a different color. I use the sponge to wash the dishes and the dish rag to wipe the counters. I stick both in the micro wave to disinfect them every day and change the dish rag when I do the dish towel.
I do the same with wash clothes...I can use a bath towel over several times...Sweetie is the same way, but I change the wash cloth every day.
Nitters to ya'll.........

Re: THREE BY THREE THURSDAY
Oh, Cowinkie... I am sooo glad your story had a happy ending. I think I may just need to tell dmil that ds/ddil don't really think they need a baby monitor and that there are some other things they are really hoping to get.
OTOH... very dfriend told me today, "I would go ahead and let dmil give them the baby monitor. EVERYBODY has one now. I just don't even know anyone who doesn't use one."
and OTOtherOH... if I tell dmil not to get the monitor, and to get the swing... then what do I tell MY mother to get, since she asked for suggestions today, also...
AND... * where is the frustrated/infuriated icon *
Dmom said to me today, "Yes, the invitations look great... but... is that how they are planning to spell his name? You know that is often the way they spelled the girl's name..."
I said, "YES... WE HAVE HAD THIS DISCUSSION ALREADY. YOU TOLD ME IT WAS OKAY... REMEMBER... THAT IS DDIL'S GRANDFATHER'S NAME AND THAT IS THE WAY HE SPELLED IT."
Grrrrrr...
Usually dmom doesn't say things like this to me. And this probably wasn't prompted by her, anyway. She then said, "That's what I told your daddy."
Grrrrr...
As I told dfriend, I guess ddad has to have SOMETHING to fret about besides himself, right?
* sigh *
Oh -- and the car is no different now than it was when I left home this morning... but I am $47.50 poorer.
AND... spent 4 hours of my life waiting... which wasn't bad, until the last 30 minutes or so, when this man, who was probably old enough to be my grandfather, came in and sat down RIGHT NEXT TO ME -- ignoring the other 12 empty chairs all around the room!!!!!!!!! -- and proceeded to read Marie Claire magazine over my shoulder.
He tried to make conversation and be friendly... but it just sorta creeped me out a little. The waiting room is very open, and people pass by constantly, so I wasn't really NERVOUS about the situation... just irritated. Shall we say ill as a hornet?
They say car problem has to get worse before they can fix it. Right now, it is just acting to randomly for them to isolate the problem. However, they do not think there is any danger in driving it at all; it is just an annoyance.
I'm exhausted. Came home & took a nap. Then dh & I went out to eat & went to see the new Men in Black. It was (surprisingly to me) very good.
