I had lunch/dinner and now I'm going to sit in my chair and if I fall a sleep that is OK. I kept waking myself up last night talking in my sleep.

We I have something major going on or am overly tired I talk in my sleep.

I talked to Dh all last night. He answered me until I woke up and I realized it was a dream. This went on all night. I'm glad it was a conversation and not a nightmare.

Cowinkle - YOU WIN!!! Wowsers! :D

Indiana - My DSisIL talks "to" my DBro as if he was alive (he died on Christmas Eve last year). She cooked him pork chops for Father's Day last Sunday. When her phone rings she says "I wonder if that is DBro?" She smiles and answers the phone. I don't have any idea what a grief expert would say about this, but I do know it has helped DSisIL immensely (at least on the short term).

Med's for the next month have been put into their individual containers. I'm always glad to have this 1 hour a month card completed.

Dh just called me twice, back to back. The first time he wanted to know if I wanted to come down the mountain and have dinner with he and an out of town friend of his - Ds and I were already cooking pasta for our supper.

The second time he told me that a lady on the temple board had called him because she was trying to get in touch with me; she said she had left a message for me here at home and I hadn't called her back. Well, there's no message here and no evidence on our phone that I've missed calls from her, so I don't know what's going on. She's told others that she's left messages for me and I won't call her back - we verified the phone number and now I have to help her with something the temple secretary should have done right to start with.

And on a related matter, the client whose tax return I'm working on emailed us this morning wanting it ......tomorrow. I forwarded the email to the partner involved and let her make the apologies. She had set up a meeting with client for tomorrow to give him the return that's due on June 30, not the 1040. Aggravated because we just got info that we needed last week from him.

So I'm just feeling aggravated in general.

Back from banking, mail, and dinner. Skipped the church supper because it was packed as we drove by to get our mail and we still had to do the bank which would take another 40 minutes. I figured by then all the food would be gone.

Had dinner at Subway and then came back to the general store for some ice cream. It is still over 90 here but it felt good to sit out on the porch of the store and eat the ice cream.

Dh and I are short-tempered with each other. A combination of the heat and the tension of the trip. Even though I'm not flying, I'm still very tense.

Yes! WD40 removes black permanent marker from my great grandmothers table.....and from our dining room table top. LO marked them both while I was in the same room with him!!! I was focused on putting med in the right container......while he was scribbling away .....

>>>.waiting patiently.....<<<<< It is time to leave for church however DH isn't back from MPB. Someone called with a problem. I have been watching him work (online cameras) but can't tell how bad it is or how long it will take to fix.

I am off. Not sure what to feed DD, will probably be a restaurant, but may be cereal at home. Yikes!!! I have not been the worlds greatest planner this week. Then we will be going to the library! See everyone tomorrow.

Water break for those in the hot parts of the country / world. Got the watering done today except the center part of the back waiting for it to cool off a bit and not be so sunny. Temps were good here today 74* earlier and now says 81* I did not turn on A/C h. of course things I should have! I can feel the diff. when I go out side but it's fine to me in here.

I watched a couple of wild life nature type videos hard to keep awake for all of 'em but very enjoyable of the natl. parks like ever glades etc. I've not seen love the sounds of nature bird calls that they have and so lovely and lush. One more to view then these will be done.

I have a plan for dinner & deviled eggs to make.

One neighbor is back that I mowed for was out of town, other that I took the can in is still gone, only one more day of doggie chore yea!

WOW! Cowinkie! So, did you grow up going to holiday family get-togethers with Meryl?? How close were you? That is too cool. 8-)

Comedy of Errors? -- When he got home, dh drove my car and declared that it had a serious problem and shouldn't be driven. He will call the transmission guy tomorrow. Meanwhile, ds came home from work and went off again to a robotics demo/educational something or other in "his" car, so we had 1 functional car this evening. Then, I had another adventure - w/ dh's car this time; it stalled on me en route to taking dd14 to practice. I turned a corner and the power steering went out. I pushed the gas pedal - nothing. I pushed the brakes - nothing. I eventually got it started again. The adventure continued - en route to picking up dd14, I realized the arrow on dh's car's gas gauge was on EMPTY and the red light was on - and that he had told me to gas it before taking dd14 to field hockey. Ack! I was able to pick up dd14 and then hightailed it to the closest gas station. I made it, though my stress level sure had rocketed. *phew* Dh had a meeting that started at 7 while dd14 had to be picked up at 7, so by the time I got to dd14, gassed the car, and got back home, it was 7:30. Dh was late to his meeting but had called the leader to let him know beforehand. . . . So, we're paying for driving our old cars. Maybe, we'll have to replace them - or at least the van - sooner than we had expected. However, we both hate car shopping. . . . Unrelated, friend R showed up for dinner while I was out with dd14. He was puzzling over where everyone else was, including his wife S, when suddenly he realized - it was Wednesday, not Thursday. LOL! So, he went home. He'll be back with the Thursday crew tomorrow night. SO, this evening has been akin to a comedy of errors. I wonder what else will happen?

Hmm... feeling sleepy and having trouble resisting the choc. cookies. . . . I think dd14 will help me with the bush if I want to do that this evening.
