Good night, for the last time tonight. Actually, it is already morning here. 1:35. It has been a long day -- a very good day, but long.

One more thing -- I meant to say earlier, re: public schooling for LO -- of course, NOTHING is fool-proof, but even in high school, we are pretty aware of who can & can't check out students. I mean, our office staff is. When someone starts to check out, as soon as the secretary starts to print a check-out slip, she can see an "alert" that might say something like, "Call mom if anyone other than mom or grandma Jones tries to check out this student." I'm sure there must have been times that someone slipped through the cracks, but I would imagine elementary school staff members are extremely vigilant in protecting their charges. In high school, if a teenager wants to leave with someone, they can probably figure out some way to get off campus. Not so much with elementary students. I'm sure if it is a small school, you can make them VERY aware of your situation and surely they will keep a close watch on things. I'm sure this is no easy decision for you, either way.
